See our articles for more details, and let the gaming escapades begin!
Million-Life
Address:130 Rundle Mall, Adelaide, SA 5000
Contact Details: 0423 583 041
Operating Hours: Daily – 10 am to 7 pm
Million-Life Arcade transported our team to a neon-lit arcade in Tokyo minus the jet lag. Cheerful and cute music plays here while flickering slot and crane machines add more color to the entire space.
Most games offer a shot at acquiring toys from popular franchises, especially if you create a strategy. Million-Life’s owner said he hates games that scam players.
You can win coveted collectibles of characters from Bluey, Pokémon, Paw Patrol, Spongebob, Sanrio/Hello Kitty, and Disney.
Take their Pokemon Pikachu game, for example. Press a button, cut a string, and boom, you’re the proud owner of some serious Pokemon loot.
The strategy? Let other gamers wear out the thread before you take your turn!
Luck also plays a factor at Million-Life, particularly with their gacha machines. Gacha machines are coin-operated vending machines dispensing small toys, figurines, or collectible items in capsules or containers.
And when you’ve had your fill of gaming frenzy, Million-Life got you covered with massage chairs. These chairs provide 8 to 16-minute sessions to soothe your gaming-weary muscles.
Tips:
- Check Million-Life’s website for updates, especially on token prices. As of 2023, a token will cost you $1.
- Million-Life has other branches in Adelaide. You can find them at Tea Tree Plaza, Westlake, and Chinatown.
- Gaming can work up an appetite. Pack snacks, as this arcade doesn’t have an on-site snack bar.
- Consider planning your visit during off-peak hours. You’ll have a shorter wait time and more opportunities to enjoy your favorite games.
- Round toys are easier to grab.
- The heavier part of the toy is the best spot to target if you’re playing their crane games!
Additionally, ask for assistance from the friendly staff if the toys need repositioning.
- Games are more fun if you have a friendly competition with your pals.
