Two things caught our attention at Henley House: the premier beach vistas viewable on the open-air terrace and their shared plates, ideal for fams and crews.

We had the sweet and salty Gazander oysters, a platter perfect for a squad of six, with a shallot vinaigrette accenting the oysters’ natural flavors. The fried cabbage and mushroom dumplings are also must-tries for vegetarians who are into savory bites.

If you want their signature plate, go for the Henley House wood-grilled beef burger. This bad boy boasts a juicy, flame-kissed patty topped with gooey cheese and fresh veggies—a true treat for hunger pangs.

When it’s time for dinner, their kingfish ceviche tostada is a no-brainer. Imagine a plate bursting with citrus-cured kingfish, guacamole, ginger, cucumber, radish, and lime—a fusion of flavors as beautiful as the Henley Beach weather.

Cinnamon Club’s beachside biryanis are absolute blasts. Our most-ordered is the Dumpukht Subz biryani, a fiery and aromatic medley of slow-cooked vegetables, fragrant basmati rice, and a symphony of spices.

To tone down the dish’s hot kick, indulge in the heavenly kulfi, a traditional homemade ice cream available in flavors like paan (betel leaf), mango pistachio & apricot. Alternatively, you can have the chocolate samosas for a spice-reducing crispy treat.

The Cinnamon Club’s cocktails are also worth a shot, like the caffeine-infused Espresso Martini with vodka, Kahlua, and caramel syrup. If you want something stronger, the Cinnamon Club Fire Ball with tequila and Cointreau will set your night ablaze!
