Their team are certified mechanics, and most have at least five years of car repair experience. The company itself has been in operation for over 30 years. 

I appreciate how they didn’t charge me with call-out fees and they made sure that I knew about the costs for the roadworthy inspection before they conducted it.

In addition, they work fast, with the inspection taking only thirty minutes. 

In terms of downsides, however, their overall rates are pricey. Some clients also found their representatives a bit pushy when suggesting repairs.

The convenience of having a high quality mechanic come to us wherever our vehicle is, is so handy and on the rare occasions we’ve had to have the car in their workshop, they’ve made that easy too.

The perception from others that it may be more expensive or somehow less “proper” could not be further from the truth.

Angelo the mechanic arrived a little earlier than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

He carried out the service, including a road test, very efficiently.

When Angelo had finished, he gave me a verbal report, and within 15 minutes, I had a copy of the invoice and a service report emailed to me.

National Vehicle Inspection is open all week, making it a great choice for busy car owners. 

The team has over 30 years of experience and is notable for its extensive knowledge about almost all vehicles regardless of model, age, and performance. For instance, they can handle inspections for high-performance cars like Porsche 911, Corvette Stingray, Alfa Romeo Spider, and more. 

I also appreciate their well-structured pricing plan divided into Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The higher the tier, the more inclusions there are in the report, but the most affordable (Silver) is already enough for most. 

That said, they don’t offer repair services, which can be a drawback for those with vehicles that aren’t roadworthy. Also, they’ve received complaints for being hard to contact for follow-up appointments.

Their mobile car inspection is commendable for having a flat rate of $249. This provides inspection to 120 key vehicle points, all done within an hour. 

Furthermore, their mechanics are friendly and thorough in explaining the inspection results. They also work fast in case repairs are needed. 

On the other hand, a downside of their service is that they respond slowly to follow-up complaints. Also, booking an inspection through their website is a bit hard because of its cluttered design.

SVQ Automotive Diagnostics is a great choice because of its specialty in auto-electrical diagnostics, which makes it more recommendable for owners of electric vehicles.
