Matti Lamb & Associates, a boutique South Australian Law firm in Adelaide, established by Partners Yousif Matti and Fraser Lamb in 2020, is committed to practicing law with a personal touch. Specializing in personal injury services, the firm endeavors to provide expert legal advice with a focus on achieving client-focused results.

We like that they are recognized for promoting the rights of injured people and has represented clients across various jurisdictions, including the Magistrates Court, District and Supreme Courts of South Australia, the SA Employment Tribunal, and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. This recognition underscores the firm’s credibility and experience in navigating legal complexities.

Furthermore, their lawyers are described as knowledgeable and compassionate. This combination suggests a balance of legal expertise and empathy, ensuring that clients receive not only competent legal representation but also support during what can be emotionally challenging times.

Note though that rates of their offered services aren’t readily available online so interested clients may need to inquire further for more information on this matter beforehand.

Overall, Matti Lamb & Associates emerges as a dedicated advocate for justice in personal injury services, offering comprehensive expertise and a client-focused philosophy. Pros

  • Primary expertise is personal injury legal cases.
  • Doyle’s Guide-recognised lawyers
  • Longer operating hours
  • Multiple office locations
  • Obligation-free first interview

Cons

  • No emergency legal services
  • Personal injuries don’t cover overseas accidents

DBH Lawyers are specialists in personal injury and family law. This proudly South Australian firm has been in business since 1970.

We find it great that clients get to explore their options without cost through an obligation-free first interview. Additionally, DBH Lawyers can offer a no win, no fee arrangement.

How this works is that if a client’s claim is unsuccessful, they don’t pay any legal fees. Otherwise, the legal fees are deducted from the settlement cost. We find this helpful for those who may not have the funds initially to make a claim.

We also like that residents who need legal assistance out of town can still have access to their services, as DBH Lawyers have offices outside Adelaide as well.

One minor drawback, however, is that there are no published emergency numbers to contact. This may not be an issue in most cases, but we find it more helpful for situations where representation is needed right away.

We should also note that their listed services don’t state coverage for Australian citizens who get injured overseas. Regrettably, if this is the kind of case we need representation for, we may need to look at other entries in this list.

  • Australian Lawyers Alliance – member
  • Law Society of South Australia – member
  • Obligation-free case assessment
  • Easy payment portal
  • 24/7 chat support

Cons

  • No mention of services for sexual abuse claims

Tindall Gask Bentley has been representing clients since 1970. They’ve since expanded their services to Western Australia and the Northern Territories.

We start off with their booking process. Should a client wish to get Tindall Gask Bentley’s services, potential clients may either phone them, register online, or use their 24/7 chat support service. Having multiple options is something we find convenient.

We love that they offer their personal injury representation to Defence Force veterans and members. Tindall Gask Bentley has a military compensation team to assist with DVA claims for clients in the armed service.

We were also happy to see representation service specifically for asbestos-related injuries. They even go a step further by offering to go to clients if they are too ill to visit their offices, which makes for a great personal touch.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any information regarding services covering specific legal needs like sexual abuse. Potential clients may need to look elsewhere for representation in this crucial area.

We also like that they have an online payment portal. We find this extremely convenient in the post-pandemic age, where contact-free transactions are becoming the norm.

For potential clients, we highly recommend that they give Tindall Gask Bentley a call. It’s obligation-free and they can determine during the interview if the firm is the right representation for them.

Pros

  • Law Society of South Australia – member
  • Obligation-free first interview
  • Free online enquiry and review for Total Permanent Disability claims
  • No win, no fee arrangement
  • Wide specialisation

Cons

  • Relatively new firm
  • Off-hours support limited to online portal

C + F Lawyers was established in 2014. Though relatively new, they’re already building a reputation for their thorough and proactive service for personal injury claims and other legal services.

Aside from the standard services for personal injury representation, they also offer a free online review of Total and Permanent Disability (TPD claims, which we love.

We also appreciate that potential clients get a brief overview of each type of legal case – frrom coverage and qualifications, compensations required, and other important information. For personal injury claims, this is extremely useful in helping manage client expectations.

That most of the services come with an obligation-free case review is great for any client’s peace of mind. Many clients with personal injury claims are actually unsure about whether their case merits legal services, so expert insight will greatly help them here.

We find it noteworthy that they openly discuss the fees up-front during the obligation-free case review. We like that this helps clients know what to expect cost-wise, given that many of them would have already shelled out a lot for their medical expenses.

While they have only been around less than ten years as a firm, some of the partners have been practising for over ten years. This is a great reassurance that cases fall into extremely-capable hands.

  • Australian Lawyers Alliance – member
  • Doyle’s Guide recognition
  • Specialises in personal injury cases
  • Comprehensive information guide published on the site

Cons

  • Limited scope of expertise
  • No off-hours support

Founded in  2003, Paul Alvaro Lawyers styles itself as a boutique law firm. They specialise in personal injury, wills and estates, and family law.

Their areas of expertise may not be as expansive as others on this list, but according to client testimonials, they are very good at what they do. Also, what matters here is that personal injury is one of their specialties, which we appreciate.

We found that their personal injury expertise covers motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, public liability, and workers compensation. This is great for clients who need representation for these cases.

However, it seems that this coverage is fairly limited compared to the other entries in this article. Since it claims to specialise in personal injury, we hope the firm takes it as a sign to beef up on their personal injury services to accommodate more clients.

Another thing we love is that the firm’s website is full of resources that will help a client decide whether or not to pursue a claim – from eligibility and limiting factors to time limits and compensation.

We just wish that they would work on support availability. They’re only available during their operating hours, and there’s no guidelines or acccommodations for off-hours emergency services.

On a brighter note, we were happy to see is that they have two locations available. They have a second location in Salisbury – but we also need to mention that this branch is by-appointment only.

  • Queensland Law Society – Accredited specialist
  • Doyle’s Guide recognition
  • Specialises in personal injury cases
  • Obligation-free case assessment
  • No win, no fee arrangement

Cons

  • No off-hours support

Founded in 1952, Turner Freeman Lawyers grew into a firm servicing 4 different locations. We’re glad that they’ve maintained their focus on personal injury cases and have consistently been one of the leaders in the field.

First off, we love that they are extremely experienced in personal injury claims. We find this great for potential clients who are more comfortable with a very high level of expertise on and dedicated attention to their case.

We also appreciate that their website offers information for different types of personal injury claims. This includes FAQs, explanations, as well as client rights to compensation.

They also get top marks from us for their no win, no fee policy. It’s comforting to know that clients can have added peace of mind with a guarantee like this, after an obligation-free meeting and assessment process.

One thing we didn’t like is the absence of off-hours support. They have LiveChat on their site but this is only available during operating hours. For clients with urgent or fast-moving cases, this may put them off from considering the firm as one of their options.

What we find helpful, though, is that they have client video testimonials on their site. For potential clients, this can allow them see for themselves the kind of service they can expect to receive.
