Pros
- Wide range of services
- Offers products online
- Calming aroma in the place
- Friendly staff
Cons
- Massage is average-quality compared to the price
- Closed on weekends
Aspects of Healing has been around since 2006 and is one of the most recognised integrative healthcare centres in Adelaide.
What we loved most about our visit here was the attitude of the staff towards customers. They were very friendly and soft-spoken, so we felt comfortable interacting with them.
We also loved the tea that they served us while we were waiting.
The aroma that greeted us when we opened the shop’s door was also very calming, so we didn’t really mind waiting for a few minutes.
We weren’t sure what to expect during the session since none of the people we know had tried their Reiki service. Most had only gotten massages in the shop, so that’s the only thing we knew about them.
We were a bit scared, too, that the session wouldn’t be worth the price since many of the people we know said the massage was quite average compared to the price. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case for our Reiki session.
There wasn’t really much physical change during the session, but we were surprised by the peace that we felt afterwards. Our minds were cleared, and we felt calm on the way home.
If you’re planning on dropping by, just note that they are closed on weekends.

Pros
- Weekend staff are friendly
- Reasonable price
- Wide variety of products
- Relaxing and soothing vibe inside the shop
Cons
- Some staff members aren’t helpful
- Outside of the city
Carpe Diem with Remi is best known for its gift products, but it’s also one of the best shops to get a Reiki session.
When we came to visit, what stood out to us the most was the soothing and relaxing vibe inside the shop despite the many products that they had on display.
We were a bit sceptical when we came to visit because a co-worker said they didn’t have the best customer service. We were warned that some of the staff were not helpful at all, so shopping there might not be a good idea.
However, when we came, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We decided to shop for gifts before our Reiki session, so we asked for their suggestions, and they were very much willing to spare us some of their time.
They’re also very knowledgeable about their products, so we got a good overview of the ones we looked into.
Upon further research, we found out that many customers didn’t have a good experience with the shop during weekdays because of the staff. But since we visited on a Saturday, their set of staff was different and a lot kinder.
As for the Reiki session, it was shorter than the other sessions that we attended, but it was very worth it. Rachel was very wonderful; she understood our needs and helped us deal with them.
Her guidance helped us walk out of the door with a clearer mind, so we’re very thankful for her.
Another thing we love about the shop is their prices. They’re very reasonable, from the price of the products to the price of the session, so we felt that we spent our money well.
The only thing we’re not happy about is the shop’s location. It’s in Port Adelaide, so it’s a bit far from the city.
People living in the south may also find it too far from their houses.

Pros
- Gentle and friendly practitioners
- Good variety of services
- Great results from sessions
- Qualified Reiki master
Cons
- Only one practitioner
- Closed on weekends
Toni is one of the most gentle and friendliest Reiki masters that we’ve ever met. She was very grounded and calm, so we gradually felt more relaxed as we talked to her.
While undergoing Reiki, there was a certain air of safety floating in the room. We started to feel so much lighter, and we were able to clear our minds a bit.
We were only able to try her Reiki services, but Toni also offers a good range of healing services, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming, hypnosis, and life coaching.
A friend of ours is doing NLP sessions with her, and she’s been getting better and better after each session. She said the sessions with Toni helped her understand herself more, so she’s able to adapt to her surroundings better.
The only downside of dealing with Toni’s Healing Room is they only have one practitioner. Despite Toni’s great records, she may still not be fit for some clients.
Having only one practitioner also limits the number of clients they can serve.
Another thing to consider when booking an appointment is Toni’s operating hours. The shop is closed during weekends, so if you really want to meet her, make sure to make some time during weekdays.

Pros
- Wide range of services
- Qualified Reiki master
- Wide variety of products
- Calm atmosphere
Cons
- Unresponsive website
- Outside of the city centre
Located in Grange, just 27 minutes away from the CBD, Zen Thyme Healing is one of the most highly-rated healing centres in South Australia.
They offer a wide range of healing modalities, including Reiki, intuitive healing, distant healing, pet healing, and more.
When we found out that Suzie, the shop’s owner, has a master-level certificate in Reiki therapy, we decided to book a session, and we’re glad we did.
We immediately felt a bit lighter when we came into the shop. The neutral tones used in the shop exuded a calming atmosphere, so we felt welcome right away.
We also looked around the products inside and were pleasantly surprised with the variety that they had.
Most Reiki shops that we went to only offer candles and crystals, but Zen Thyme also offers books, bracelets, essential oils, resin products, and tarot cards.
During the Reiki session, we found Suzie easy to talk to. She explained to us what to expect during the session and was very kind throughout the process.
We felt a bit tired when we got home, which was something we didn’t expect since we went there to relax.
When we researched about it, we found out it was a normal healing reaction after a Reiki session, so if you booked one, you might experience a bit of fatigue.
The only disappointing part of our experience was when we were researching them. Their website was unresponsive at times, so it was frustrating going through it.
We also think that it’s a bit of a hassle that we have to go out of the city to get Reiki. This can also be a bit too bothersome for people living in a suburb opposite Grange.

Pros
- Warm and respectful practitioner
- Generous with time
- Qualified Reiki master
- Over 20 years of experience
Cons
- Only open 3 days a week
- Outside of the city centre
Over her 20 years of experience in Reiki therapy, Michelle has proven her expertise and skill to many of her clients.
She was suggested to us by a friend, and after looking at her reviews and website, we decided to book a session.
She has a Reiki certification Level I, II, and Master, so it was easy for us to trust her abilities. Many of the reviews also have nothing but praise for her.
What stood out to us the most during the session was Michelle’s warm and respectful nature. We felt welcomed when we came in, and she was very caring towards us the entire time.
We also love how generous she was with her time. Our session lasted for over an hour, and it was probably the longest Reiki session we had.
The room where we had the session was dimly lit, and there was soft music playing in the background. We could also smell a faint flowery aroma inside the room, which helped us feel more comfortable.
After the session, we felt a lot lighter than when we came in. We felt more relaxed, so we’re considering going back again.
The only thing holding us back from fully committing to Michelle’s treatment is her operating time. She’s only open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so it’s hard for us to find time to come visit.
The place is also located outside of the city centre, so it’s a bit inconvenient to go out of our way just to receive a Reiki session.
