Pros
- Has many attractions offered
- No entrance fee
- Has many opening hours
- Good design and ambiance
Cons
- Pricey attractions
- Some facilities need better maintenance
The Beachouse is one of the most popular theme parks in Adelaide because they have an extensive list of attractions. The great part is that it caters to different preferences, with facilities like basketball courts, water rides, carousels, and more.
The rides all have a unifying theme of summer and a retro vibe, which does well in creating a great ambiance inside the park. The descriptions and safety protocols they provide for each ride are great for guiding families.
One of their best offerings is the carousel, as it has a unique and timeless design. Although it has been there for around 120 years, it is well-maintained and highly entertaining for children.
A great feature of the park is that there’s no entrance fee. There’s no need to book in advance, which makes it very accessible.
The park has longer opening hours and dates compared to other theme parks in Adelaide. This makes them a great go-to place for weekend trips.
However, one downside of the company is that the fees of their attractions are a bit pricey. It’s best to avail of their services through group packages.
Aside from this, some of their facilities, such as their bathrooms and some of their arcade, need better maintenance.

Pros
- High-adrenaline and exciting rides
- Has a great view of West Beach
- Accessible
- Staff is professional and great with explaining safety precautions
Cons
- High fees
- Not for toddlers and babies
West Beach Adventure is the theme park for those seeking high-adrenaline rides. They have a well-designed aerial adventure with a great variety of activities such as a vertical drop and the Giant Swing.
It’s situated to give you a great view of West Beach. If you’re not up for rides, we like how it’s always an option to rest in their cafe, which is designed to give good visibility of this view.
In addition, the park is child-friendly, as it has safe yet exciting attractions for them. It’s also aptly named Kangaroo, Koala, and Kookaburra obstacles.
Another strength of the theme park is that it’s only 15 minutes away from the Adelaide CBD. This, along with their lengthy operational hours, makes them easy to visit.
We commend their staff’s professionalism and thorough advice for clients, which is very valuable given their attractions’ high-octane quality.
That said, a downside we saw is that their fees are some of the highest among theme parks in Adelaide.
Aside from this, it’s not the best spot to visit when you have babies and toddlers with you, as the rides aren’t made for them.

Pros
- Well-maintained
- Professional staff
- Has many programs offered
- Has many forms of wildlife
Cons
- Some attractions are strictly by-appointment
- May not always be entertaining for children
Cleland Wildlife Park is a great display of Adelaide’s natural inhabitants. It’s notable for its sustainable and ethical way of showcasing animals.
Built in 1967, it houses many forms of wildlife including koalas, butterflies, reptiles, and more. It’s maintained by the Department for Environment and Water (DEW), and it’s notable for being excellently preserved.
The theme park leans more towards child-friendly and educational entertainment, which is aided by its highly-experienced and approachable staff. They’re great with kids and are always ready to answer their questions.
We like how they have many regular programs offered, including feeding tours, health checks, and photo sessions with the animal. It’s done in a manner where the animals are kept at minimal stress levels.
There’s plenty of space to walk around, and notably, the park is always clean and organized. This orderliness also extends to how they handle appointments and group bookings, which is a great sign of their professionalism.
If there’s anything we didn’t like about them, one is that some of their attractions are strictly by schedule only. Some are also quite pricey.
Given that it’s a wildlife theme park, you may not always see an animal especially if they’re currently asleep or in hiding. This can make the experience boring for some children.

Pros
- Accessible location
- Has many obstacle courses offered
- Great variety of activities
- Good for team-building events
Cons
- Doesn’t provide refunds
- Has cases of suddenly canceling appointments
TreeClimb Adelaide’s strength lies in how accessible they are. Located on Unley Road, the theme park is a great place to visit if you want to experience the city’s rich flora in an exciting manner.
It’s filled with many obstacle courses that are designed to give you a picturesque view as you test your endurance and agility. The staff also makes sure to thoroughly guide clients for their safety.
We also like the good variations in the activities they provide. There’s one for children, families, groups of friends, and more.
They also conduct corporate team-building events well. Their team is great with lectures and accommodating different groups.
Plus, their facilities are well-maintained and safe to use. We also like how there are many spaces for lounging if you’re tired.
We’re just a bit iffy about how they don’t offer refunds for customers who do not go through with their planned activity.
Aside from this, some clients experienced having their booking suddenly canceled by the company. This can be very inconvenient especially if you’ve planned to spend the day here.

Pros
- Affordable rates and has many packages
- Well-kept and tidy
- Professional and accommodating staff
- Has multiple slides to accommodate different ages and preferences
Cons
- Attractions are limited to slides
- Small and crowded
The Big Wedgie Inflatable Water Park is an affordable and entertaining water slide theme park in West Beach. Their design and concept are simple but well-executed.
It features the very tall slide Big Wedgie which is highly amusing and always in high demand. If it’s too high for you, they also have smaller ones.
We like how they offer many bundles and packages for their rides. These also come with a “buy now, pay later” plan, which makes them more accessible.
Their facilities are well-kept and tidy. They also have many spaces for parking, which is always appreciated by families.
Their staff is very friendly and great at handling children. They’re professional when it comes to handling complaints too.
That said, a downside with the theme park is that their attractions are limited to water slides. This limitation means that the park may not be for everyone.
Aside from this, their space is small and is a bit too crowded during peak season. It’s best to bring lots of water when visiting.
