Waterworld Aquatic Center

The Waterworld Aquatic Center is a water wonderland complete with sprinklers, slides, and pools for kids and kids at heart.
There’s a learners’ pool, approximately 20 by 18 meters, with depths ranging from 75 centimeters to 1.1 meters—perfect for newbie swimmers.
For the thrill-seekers, there are waterslides with varying heights and lengths. Our favorite is the adrenaline-pumping 77-meter SupaJet slide that’s full of twists and turns.

SA Aquatic & Leisure Center’s Wibit

The SA Aquatic & Leisure Center’s Wibit is the ultimate floating playground. It’s packed with various challenges, from balancing acts to climbing, jumping, and sliding.
The inflatable attractions here include the space bowl slide, which stands at a whopping 75 meters and spins riders before shooting them out at the bottom.
Meanwhile, the aqua tube slide plunges thrill-seekers into darkness, occasionally illuminated by circles of rainbow lights as they speed through the course.
Not to be outdone, the inflatable slide launches adventurers from a 7-meter diving platform!

Marion Outdoor Pool

Marion Outdoor Pool’s head-turners are its two mega waterslides, water jets, and the famed 9-meter Big Bucket pouring water onto the slides.
This outdoor water park is also vast, with three pools, including a heated Olympic pool and two shaded shallow pools for kids, ensuring a mix of thrills for every visitor.
The entire setup comes alive after sundown thanks to floodlights that illuminate the grounds, guaranteeing a cool dip on hot summer nights. If you’re hungry, there’s a kiosk serving lip-smacking chips, cold rolls, hot dogs, and more.

The Adelaide Aquatic Center is a year-round swimming and playing hotspot just a hop, skip, and a splash away from the CBD!
The center’s indoor leisure pool is where the party is for families and kiddos. It has cool waterslides with fun shapes and shallow waters (max depth of 0.9 meters) ideal for little ones to paddle around and make a big splash.

The Big Wedgie

The Big Wedgie is unbeatable when it comes to inflatable waterslides. In fact, one of the world’s tallest inflatable slides is found here, standing tall at 18.2 meters and stretching 82 meters in length with a heart-pumping descent down its impressive 55-degree slope.
Our go-to attraction, though, is the Big Chucka! We enjoyed its 80-degree plunge that catapulted us sky-high, propelling us up to 9 meters before landing on a cushy inflatable pad.
Little adventurers aren’t left out. The water park’s Little Wedgie is a smaller slide best for tiny thrill-seekers aged 3 to 5.
| Tips: You can book The Big Wedgie for parties. You don’t have to look for a parking spot outside, as there’s free parking onsite. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit or swimming attire. It’s required. Check the weather forecast before you visit. If it gets too windy or rainy, there’s a chance that the water park will be closed. You can bring your own meals. As of the moment, there’s no fee for this, but we suggest visiting their website to check if there are changes. |
BIG4 Holiday Park West Beach

Nestled along a picturesque 1.2-kilometer beachfront, you’ll find the oh-so-popular BIG4 Holiday Park West Beach.
Their Splashzone is an absolute hoot for both the tiny tots and the not-so-tiny tots, with the main attraction being a big bucket that fills up slowly, teasing everyone below, before unloading a watery downpour on the gleeful crowd.
In addition to the Splashzone, there are jumping pillows, a water playground with classic wading zones and sprinklers, and a heated pool.

Marion Holiday Park

Marion Holiday Park is an action-packed watery paradise. This spot was a hit for our kids, with a water park boasting slides, splash buckets, and water guns.
We visited during winter, so it was quite nippy, but the cold didn’t bother us at all. Comfy wetsuits are available for hire in the reception, and the water is heated here, including the pools.
Speaking of the pools, smaller kids will have a blast in their shallow pool, while adults who need a breather can chill in the indoor pool.
There’s also no need for concern about time constraints here. Night swimming is permitted, and lighting is available for darker hours.

The Beachouse

The Beachouse is an exhilarating water park perched on a beachfront setting, offering thrilling wet activities and watery attractions for visitors of all ages.
Their raft waterslide is where you can rocket down in pitch darkness while seated on a raft built for two. The Chilla waterslide, on the other hand, is best for solo riders who seek a more laid-back experience.
But for the speed demons out there, the 130-meter speed waterslide is a banger, offering a lightning-fast descent.
There’s also an area for bumper boats armed with water cannons, where you have to duke it out with other players—guaranteeing a game that’ll leave you drenched and grinning from ear to ear.

The ARC is an invigorating aquatic hub featuring interconnected heated pools, a splash pad resembling a lively flower garden, and a play area with water play structures and sprinklers.
Serious swimmers will enjoy the 25-meter lap pool, while children can enjoy themselves in the shallower and more compact kiddie pools. For adults seeking relaxation, there’s a sauna room.

Tusmore Park

While not officially a water park, Tusmore Park offers water park-like structures and activities, albeit on a smaller scale. But, hey, having fun here won’t cost a single dime!
The top feature is the fully fenced wading pools with quirky structures like giant flowers and leaf fountains, making it an absolute drench zone for the little ones. Plus, there’s an additional lagoon-like pool for more water-filled frolicking.
If your kids aren’t in the mood for some pool fun, there are sprayers set in the greenery.
Tusmore Park also has a crystal-clear creek where kids and their parents can swim or play water games.
| Tips: You can bring dogs, but they aren’t allowed in the water. Additionally, they must stay leashed. Pack necessary items for a picnic, as Tusmore Park offers shaded and well-maintained grassy areas. Just ensure not to bring food or drinks to the pools. |
Marshmallow Playground

Similar to Tusmore Park, Marshmallow Playground isn’t technically a water park. Nevertheless, it boasts a water playground that creates a smaller yet intimate water park-like experience.
The play area has a waterplay hill, interactive tables that spray water, and water pumps with cartoony designs that guarantee a fully immersive and social experience (yup, there are a lot of kids here).
Moreover, the watery (and muddy) play area has a giant slide and whimsical sculptures of jellyfish and witchetty grubs adding a quirky touch to the landscape. Our kids also enjoyed playing with the small gates and mushroom heads that control the water’s flow!
