The Best Brazilian Restaurants in Adelaide That Gave Us Chronic Cravings

If there’s one thing that can make us drool at an ungodly hour (or any time at all, honestly), it’s the delicioso dishes from Adelaide’s Brazilian restaurants, like B’Churrasco and Nosso Cafe.

Whether you’re craving picanha straight off a smoky grill or feijoada so hearty, it feels like a warm hug from the inside, these spots will please your palate better than the soggy noodles you call dinner.

But, hey, to taste is to believe. Before you hit the road, though, plot your destinations at our favorite Brazilian restaurants in the city!

A plate from Trivial Brazilian Food took us to the sidewalks along Copacabana Beach or Rocinha’s dynamic streets. Brazilian culture thrives here, and you can savor it for under 20 bucks.

The crispy and savory coxinha was the first snack we cleaned up and the very reason why we fell for Brazilian food. This meal is shredded chicken encased in dough, molded into a teardrop shape, and then deep-fried to golden, crunchy perfection.

Their moqueca with an Aussie twist was also a revelation, especially for our teammates who live for good seafood. A spoonful of this fish stew popped with the mild flavor of flaky barramundi filet and the sweet, oceanic undertones of a prawn-based broth.

For dessert, we had the churros with dulce de leche, a sweet, crisp bite coated in cinnamon and sugar. A caramel-like sauce elevates it by adding a creamy, buttery, and vanilla side to the crunchy treat.

Tip: Without change, a restaurant’s offerings can get stale. Luckily, Trivial Brazilian Food updates its menu weekly. Check the website above to stay in the know!

Wine and meat at the festive B’Churrasco go together like a samba beat and a twirling dancer. Their BBQ menu is praise-worthy, and the strong wine list with over 20 bottles solidifies it.

Picanha or rump cap was the first one we ordered, and it had a robust flavor, tender texture, and a layer of fat that rendered and basted the meat. A glass of premium red punctuated this one for us.

The real showstopper though, was the presunto com abacaxi, or ham with pineapple. With each bite, we indulged in a delectable contrast of savory and sweet flavors, made more drool-worthy by the pineapple’s delicate acidity.

Given the meaty meals, something has to sweeten our palates, and the Brazilian creme caramel did the trick. We still think about its combination of luscious caramel sauce and decadent almond praline.

Tip: B’Churrasco is a hit among families and groups. Book online to instantly secure your spot.

With Sturt St’s Cozinha, we experienced Brazil’s most famous snacks in a laidback and Insta-worthy cafe setting.

Our team visited during lunch, so we went with the staff-recommended feijoada, a traditional Brazilian black bean stew. The hype is real, as the dish wowed us with its hearty character and deep umami essence, courtesy of the pork and sausage.

Pairing it with the cafe’s coxinha proved to be a smart move too. The coxinha’s herby, spiced flavor, satisfying crunch, and tangy tomato sauce brought more delicious depth to the stew.

To wash it all down, most of us opted for their dragonfruit smoothie while some had Cozinha’s top-tier iced mocha.

Tip: Don’t forget about your pupper. Cozhina is dog-friendly!

Our 32-minute drive to Nosso Cafe was worth every minute. This Brazilian spot has everything, from a serene, refreshing locale and magical lakeside scenery to mouthwatering bites and brews.

In terms of food, pao de queijo was one of our visit’s highlights. We enjoyed this Brazilian cheese bread’s crispy exterior and chewy, cheesy interior that perfectly matched Nosso’s fruit juices and coffee.

The offering that won us over, though, was bobo de camarao. We’re already plotting a second trip to once again relish in its creamy, fragrant, and spicy coconut milk sauce brimming with shrimp.

Tip: For the quintessential Nosso Cafe experience, opt for al fresco dining. However, it’s wise to peek at the weather forecast before you go to guarantee an enjoyable meal outdoors.

Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours

Tche Brazilian BBQ may technically operate as a caterer rather than a traditional restaurant, but skipping it would be a foodie travesty.

Our love affair with their Brazilian-style BBQs began at the Fullarton Community Center event. They served melt-in-your-mouth ribs with a smoky and savory flavor, thanks to a meticulous cooking process over open flames.

Grilled chicken hearts accompanied the ribs, adding a hearty (no pun intended) and chewy aspect to the feast.

We also wolfed down several of their calabrese sausages, which boasted a strong flavor profile derived from a blend of traditional Brazilian spices, pork, and garlic.

Tip: You can feast on Tche Brazilian BBQ’s offerings by reaching out to them via their social media platforms or catching them at events they attend, as we did.
