Pros
- Huge stock
- Can source parts for you
- 3-12 months warranty
- Wide variety of brands
Cons
- Customer service can be improved
- A bit pricey
Salisbury Auto Parts’ biggest advantage over other car parts stores in Adelaide is their huge stock of parts. They have over 50,000 parts in stock, so they’re able to provide the needs of a wide range of customers.
They also have parts for a wide range of brands like Ford, Toyota, Holden, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Kia, and Hyundai.
On top of that, they can source the part for you if they don’t have it in stock.
We also love that they provide a warranty for all of their parts. They provide a standard warranty of 3 months, but you can avail of a warranty of up to 12 months for both replacement and labour.
We were just a bit disappointed with the customer service and price. The staff we talked to on the phone was quite rude, so we felt uncomfortable during the encounter.
Some of the people we talked to also complained about them not responding well to emails, especially to those who need after-sales assistance.
As for the price, we found similar parts in other stores that were a bit cheaper.

Pros
- Offers free shipping
- Free returns
- Offers price matching
- Plenty of parts
Cons
- Customer service can be improved
- Long wait for click and collect
Supercheap Auto is one of Australia’s biggest car parts stores, with several branches all over the country.
What we love most about Supercheap is they offer free shipping for orders exceeding $99, which is especially beneficial for clients who’ll be purchasing expensive parts.
We also love that they offer price matching, allowing customers to get the lowest price possible. If they’re able to verify the price you presented to them, they’ll beat it with a lower price.
Another great thing about them is that they provide free returns if the part you received is defective.
The only thing disappointing about them is their customer service and the click-and-collect service.
We ordered seat covers using the click-and-collect option and were told that it would be ready in an hour. But we still had to wait a few more hours when we arrived there.
The staff were also not as helpful as we hoped for. No one was there to assist us, and when we found someone, she didn’t have the best attitude.

Pros
- 30 years of experience in custom fitting
- Wide variety of accessories
- Easy ordering process
- Quick delivery
Cons
- Sends the wrong product at times
- Only sells accessories
Motoquipe is one of the top companies when it comes to custom-fitting car accessories in Adelaide. With over 30 years of experience, you can trust them with your cars.
They have a wide variety of products, so you should be able to find what you’re looking for if you visit their website. They have seat covers, floor mats, dash mats, wheels and gear knobs, roof racks, sun shades, and more.
Our only problem with their product range is they only have car accessories. If you’re looking for engine parts, you should look elsewhere.
On the bright side, ordering from them is quite easy. You can order their products from their website, eBay, Kogan, Catch, and Shop.com, so it’s not hard to get a hold of their products.
They also deliver pretty fast, which is one of the most important factors customers consider. Some parts are even delivered within a day, despite the buyer being from a different state.
However, despite the fast delivery, there’s still a lot to be improved with their delivery service. They sometimes send the wrong product, causing inconvenience to the customers.

Pros
- Wide range of products
- Helpful staff
- 3–12 months warranty
- Offers mechanical services
- Nationwide delivery
Cons
- Communication with customers can be improved
- Some products are damaged
As one of Adelaide’s leading car parts stores, it’s not surprising for Adelaide folks to see JCS Parts on this list.
Our favourite thing about JCS is its wide range of products. They have engines, transmissions, body parts, suspensions, tyres, accessories, and interiors.
They also have 4WD parts, which can be pretty hard to find in other car parts stores.
They also provide nationwide delivery, making their products highly accessible to everyone in Australia.
Another thing we love about JCS is its helpful staff. They know their inventory well, so asking questions about them is not a problem.
In fact, they even give advice on which parts would suit your car and lifestyle better.
The only thing we think they should improve with their customer service would be their communication with their customers.
Some customers came home disappointed after driving to the store because the parts were actually not available despite them saying they were.
There were also times when parts reserved for other customers were sold to a different customer because of miscommunication.
Another thing we’re disappointed about them was the instances when the items sold were defective, forcing customers to come back to the store.

Pros
- Wide variety of brands
- Offers mechanical services
- Wide range of products
- Easy to contact
Cons
- Customer service can be improved
- Some parts are damaged
Another trusted car part store in Adelaide is Dry Creek Auto Wreckers. They’ve been in business for 35 years, so they’ve already built a loyal customer base.
They provide car parts from a wide variety of brands, probably the widest out of everyone on this list. Aside from the popular mid-range car brands, they also offer parts for luxury cars like BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Peugeot.
Another great thing about Dry Creek is they also offer mechanical services, so if you need help with repairing your car, you can drop by anytime.
They can also fit the parts you purchased for your convenience.
We also love how easy it is to contact them. They respond to emails quickly and answer phone calls quickly, so customers don’t have to wait long to get answers to their queries.
The customer service in the store, however, isn’t as pleasing as the service online. Some of the staff seem too preoccupied at times to assist customers, while some are quite rude.
We’re also slightly disappointed at the number of complaints about damaged products. Our friend who bought an alternator at the store also received a defective item.
