Get a taste of the tropics at the best Caribbean restaurants in Adelaide!

  • Bang for the buck: The price of the meal should reflect its quality and taste. I want to make the most of my payment through every bite!
  • Quality: I picked restaurants that only serve freshly cooked meals with good-quality ingredients. The meats should be tender and well-seasoned, and the vegetables should still be snappy and crisp.
  • Customer service: I chose establishments with accommodating and polite staff. The server’s hospitality is a huge part of the dining experience.
  • Location: The restaurants should have nearby parking spaces and within range of the main road for easy car service bookings.

For the love of these tasty bites, I searched high and wide on the Internet and asked my friends and family for the best Caribbean restaurants in the city. I tried each one and narrowed it down to these tasty picks.

The Caribbean Bar is a vibrant place filled with live music, dancing, colorful shots, and delicious dishes. They have themed parties on the weekend, such as the Traffic Light Party.

I went there with my friends to unwind on a Friday night and ordered Captain Jack’s Cigars, which are spring rolls stuffed with chicken curry. The smokey and spicy flavor of the curry fit well with the light, airy crispiness of the spring roll wrap. It was the perfect pair for my craft beer!

The staff was accommodating and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed for the night, regularly checking in on us.

My only complaint was the music. It was too loud; I could barely hear my own thoughts.

Pros

  • Fun themed parties
  • Nearby parking space
  • Friendly and chatty staff
  • Wide variety of cocktails

Cons

  • Loud music
  • Cramped space
  • Closed on Mondays and Sundays

    Cool place

One very cool barrrr me hearties. The atmosphere is great. The aesthetic of the place is on point having the feel of a pirate bar in the heart of the Caribbean. The staff were awesome, friendly and service was fast. The section of rum/whisky is incredible and a cocktail selection to suit everyone’s taste. They have a happy hour and also have tappas. Will definitely be back!! ☠️🍻🍹🧉

Casablabla is a colorful nook with a mish-mash of cultural decor and fun fusion dishes. With zesty Asian influences and smoky Caribbean flavors, this restaurant is a treat for foodies looking for a good time.

I went there once for a friend’s birthday and enjoyed my stay. I had the chicken tacos and the Cuban mojo prawn skewers. The chicken taco was juicy and deliciously tangy, while the prawn skewers were smokey and juicy.

However, their staff were not attentive. I had to call a waiter three times for them to notice me. A little presence of mind from the staff would make this place a bit better.

    Pros

    • Wide selection of drinks
    • Unique fusion menu
    • Warm and welcoming interior
    • Polite waiters

    Cons

    • Inattentive staff
    • Small portions
    • Closed on Mondays

      Highly recommend

      Great vibe

The place had a great vibe, had a shot of tequila before ordering food. The service was good, and I felt like as soon as we ordered, the dished started coming out. Everything we ordered was really good but the glazed pork ribs takes the win here. It’s just too delicious.
