The 5 Best Day Spas in Adelaide for a Proper Reset
My shoulders spent most of last month sitting somewhere near my ears, and desk jobs have a funny way of turning your upper back into concrete before you notice.
A day spa can loosen all that, but only if it’s quiet and doesn’t rush you out the door, which is harder to find than it sounds.
So I compared massage and facial menus, opening hours, and treatment packages at top spas across Adelaide to see which ones earn their keep.
Here are the best day spas in Adelaide, and what each one is good for.
How much does a day spa visit cost in Adelaide?
A day spa visit in Adelaide costs from $120 for a half-hour tension fix to $735 per person for a full-day retreat, depending on the inclusions.
| Option | Typical price (AUD) |
| Shorter treatments (30 minutes) | From $120 |
| Standard treatments (1 hour) | $170 to $215+ |
| Specialised rituals and multi-step services (1.5 to 2.5 hours) | $215 to $485 |
| Day spa packages and half or full-day retreats | $295 to $735 per person |
| Couples packages | $320 to $699+ total |
1. Karsa – Massage & Day Spa

Website: karsa.mase.cloud
Address: 233 Rundle Street, Adelaide
Contact: 0466 592 748
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM | Friday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM | Sunday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Clocking off late in the city centre usually means every therapist has already gone home. Karsa sits right on Rundle Street and stays open until 10:00 PM every night, which makes it an easy stop after work or shopping.
Inside, you get a quiet, partitioned room and strict draping procedures, so you never feel exposed while unwinding.
It’s one of the top massage spas in the city, covering eight massage styles, from Thai and remedial to lymphatic and deep tissue. Hot stone, hot oil and foot massages are there too, along with ear candling, cupping and body scrubs.
That means you can sort out a stiff neck and book beauty treatments under one roof.
However, doors don’t open until 10:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays and 11:00 AM on other days, so early morning appointments aren’t possible.
They made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole treatment.
I had such a wonderful experience at Karsa! I had a foot massage, neck and shoulder massage, and vacuum cupping, and I absolutely loved the service. Everyone was so lovely, kind, and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole treatment.

Address: 409 Magill Road, St Morris
Contact: 08 8333 3195

Clenching your jaw through a stressful work week leaves your face feeling just as tight as your back. In St Morris, Cocoon Spa tackles that tension in deluxe beauty suites built for a proper suburban escape.
Their standout service is the Buccal Facial Massage, which works both outside and inside your mouth to release deep jaw tightness and reduce puffiness.
When I spoke to their staff about it, they explained that the technique boosts circulation to lift and sculpt your face naturally.
You can also book HydraGlow or vitamin C facials, or warm-stone and Indian head massages. Couples Delight, Mother To Be and Man Space packages are on offer too.
They stay open until 9:00 PM on Thursdays too.
However, they close on Sundays, and the drive to Magill Road takes a while if you live in South Adelaide.
it was hands down the best spa experience I’ve ever had.
I had the Hope Package with Brianna and it was hands down the best spa experience I’ve ever had. I’ve had many massages and facials, but this felt truly special. She focused on areas I’ve never had treated before, particularly behind my ears and around my head — incredibly relaxing and so unique. I’ve already recommended Brianna to others and will absolutely be requesting her again.

A very relaxing spa with friendly staff. I have had a few massages and finish feeling completely refreshed. I recently had a voucher to another spa and the treatments at Cocoon are far better quality.

We will probably be back every year.
Booked a full day package for my wife for our 21st wedding anniversary, I joined as it was the couples package, the wife absolutely loved it……….as for me, I was dubious…………. well I tell you….. from the first touch of my back till the foot spa at the end was fantastic, I can confirm I was so relaxed during the facial that I feel asleep, only woke up because my wife told me to stop snoring. So relaxing. Lunch was an absolute beautiful meal.
We will probably be back every year.

Many places rush you through a facial without touching the tight muscles in your neck. Swiss Wellness Day Spa Adelaide, on King William Road in Hyde Park, has spent more than 20 years pairing skin care with full-body relaxation.
Every facial uses the Adelaide Hills Organics range and includes hot steam towels plus a neck, shoulder and scalp massage.
A friend of mine booked their signature massage and wrap package and loved the organic lotion massage at the end. Every body treatment finishes this way, except the Contouring Body Wrap.
If you’re buying a present for a partner, you can call ahead for a gift voucher with free gift wrapping ready to collect.
That said, they shut on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays, and cancelling within 24 hours costs a 50% fee.
The treatment itself was divine
My husband and I had the couples de-stress package today. The entrance to the spa was calming, and good parking around the back. The reception area and waiting room was tidy and calm with tea, water and music. The treatment itself was divine, I am not sure of my therapists name but was the best massage I had, most places I go to are just too firm even when I ask for light/gentle. Body scrub and scalp massage was great too. Hubby enjoyed his massage too. Will be back

Highly recommend!
Really lovely experience here. The space is clean very calm and easy to unwind in, and the staff make you feel comfortable right away. My treatment was relaxing and absolutely well done. I walked out feeling refreshed and much less tense. It’s the kind of place you’d happily come back to when you need a proper break. Highly recommend!

5. Bali Massage Prospect

Website: balimassageprospect.net
Address: 4/276A Main North Road, Prospect SA 5082
Contact: 0450 763 237
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Finding a spot that handles rough heels and acne breakouts alongside a proper muscle rub saves you booking three separate appointments. Bali Massage Prospect brings all of that together on Main North Road.
Their signature Balinese massage combines gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy. You can also book deep tissue or Thai massage, plus cupping and ear candling.
They offer an Essential Spa Pedicure with a callus scrub too, along with skincare for sun damage, wrinkles and oily skin.
Plus, it stays open until 9:00 PM seven days a week.
However, they have two locations in the city, which can confuse first-time visitors. The trip north is also long if you live in South Adelaide.
Would definitely come back again!
I had such a good experience at Bali Massage Prospect. The therapist, Nova was amazing — she had strong hands but was still gentle at the right spots. My tight muscles felt so much better after the massage, like all the tension was finally released. The place itself had a calm, relaxing vibe and the staff were friendly too. I left feeling lighter, relaxed, and refreshed. Would definitely come back again!
