Generate your next big business ideas in the 5 best meeting room rentals in Adelaide

  • Quality of room - The room should have many amenities (such as Wi-Fi, projectors, and microphones) and have a design conducive to meetings.
  • Flexibility - The meeting room rental building should have different options for various numbers of participants, many available slots, and a reasonable cancellation policy.
  • Fairness of rental fees - The rental fees should be reasonable given the quality of the room, the duration of the rental, and the amenities provided.
  • Accessibility - I looked at their operating hours and how easy it is to reach their offices.

Have you ever been stuck in a crowded, noisy meeting space, counting the minutes until you can leave? It’s hard to brainstorm and innovate in an environment that’s anything but conducive to creativity!

If you don’t have an office of your own and are looking for a space to brainstorm, renting a meeting room is a great idea. It’s comfortable, convenient, and easy to book.

The best part is that you can try various options temporarily, which I did to find the perfect fit for my team. Take a look at these that passed my muster!

Servcorp stands out for having bilingual secretaries, making them capable of serving both local and international businesses.

Founded in 1978, they have neatly designed rooms with granite and leather, an in-house IT team (that uses its own VLAN), fast Internet, updated TV and audio equipment, and Polycom phones.

Notably, they offer hassle-free, contract-free rental plans and meeting lengths as short as ten minutes.

They also respond fast to last-minute bookings, requests for IT set-up, and other client needs.

That said, some clients found their representatives a bit pushy. Their services are also pricey if you won’t avail of their membership.

Pros

  • Has bilingual secretaries onsite
  • Premium room furniture and equipment
  • Hassle-free rental plans
  • Responsive

Cons

  • Pushy representatives
  • Pricey if you’re not a member

WOTSO Adelaide has unique and innovative rooms featuring a range of design inspirations (such as modern art, urban, and minimalist), making it good for creative meetings.

Founded in 2014, they offer spaces that can accommodate various group sizes, flexible rental terms, and a variety of room designs.

They also have one of the most competitive meeting room rates starting at $40 per hour. Notably, they’re one of the few to be equipped with Apple TVs, which are especially great for marketing, advertising, and media companies.

Their staff is also very accommodating and easy to talk to. They respond fast to requests for assistance too.

Compared to other business room rentals, however, their booking slots are more limited. Some may also find their office design to be a bit too casual.

Pros

  • Creative room designs
  • Apple TV-equipped meeting rooms
  • Affordable
  • Accommodating staff

Cons

  • Limited booking slots
  • Office design may be too casual for some

The staff are the stand-out feature of this workspace, extremely helpful and always friendly!

“The staff are the stand-out feature of this workspace, extremely helpful and always friendly! The space itself is immaculate, with snacks/coffee constantly refreshed and plenty of spaces within the building to go to get fresh air, peace and quiet or just a change of scenery. Definitely a place to work harder AND smarter.”

If you’re looking for a hospitality-focused room rental, Hub Adelaide is a great pick. When I visited, I was impressed by their accommodating and responsive staff, their own café, and the premium feel of their interior.

Founded in 2011, they’re the first rental workspace to be carbon neutral (certified by Climate Active). This makes them a fantastic choice if sustainability is one of your business’s core values.

Now about their rental meeting rooms, theirs are hotel-quality because they provide whole-day catering, a dedicated hospitality team, and executive furniture. They can also accommodate up to 100 people.

I only wish they provided passes specifically for meeting rooms, as their all-inclusive day pass is pricey. Also, they take a couple of days to respond to complaints sent via email.

Pros

  • Hospitality-focused
  • Has an in-house cafe
  • Executive-level furniture
  • Carbon neutral certified

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Takes a couple of days to respond to emails

Fantastic friendly service

“Fantastic friendly service. Very accommodating as we traveled from out of town and had a toddler with us. Amazing haircut and colour with excellent advice from a knowledgeable team, going from long curly hair to above chin length short was a bit daunting but you were all fab. I adore my new hair and am getting lots of compliments, thanks so much ❤”

The Innovation Factory is a solid choice for starting SMEs, as their prices are affordable. In addition, their meeting rooms’ availability is posted real-time, making last-minute booking easy.

Founded in 2020, they especially cater to starting businesses not only through their accessible rates but also with the networking-conducive environment they keep. The energy was bright and welcoming when I visited here.

Their meeting rooms are fully equipped with speedy Wi-Fi, presentation equipment, soundproof walls, and even unlimited printer usage.

It’s also very accessible on King William Street.

That said, their meeting room booking slots are limited. Also, their layout is a bit too simplistic, making it less recommendable if you’re looking for an executive feel to your meeting room.

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Meeting room availability is updated real-time
  • Well-equipped meeting rooms
  • Accessible

Cons

  • Limited meeting room rental slots
  • Design is too simplistic

It has great facilities, great location & everything else you would want in a shared works space.

“The Innovation Factory is an amazing Shared work space. It has great facilities, great location & everything else you would want in a shared works space. The number 1 thing that makes it so much better then other CO working spaces is the Community & support network it provides. If you’re starting or Growing a business, or working from home you must check this place out!”

They have an all inclusive fee structure, the ability to hire board rooms and meeting rooms at no extra cost, as well as a stocked drinks fridge and exclusive invites to networking events. Absolutely in love with the space and can’t wait to be back!!

Regus is a good choice if you want to conduct interstate/intercountry meetings because they have branches all over the world, including those in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

With over 30 years in the business, they’re one of the leaders in the industry, regularly being availed by big names like Microsoft, Disney, and Spotify. Despite this, I found their rates accessible, starting as low as $29 per hour.

They follow a decentralized system that allows clients to book meeting rooms all over the city. They have five spaces in Adelaide, including one in King William, Grenfell, Greenhill, Fullarton, and Mawson Lakes.

My meeting in their Grenfell branch went smoothly because of my chosen room’s complete presentation equipment, elegant decor, and professional design. It also had a fantastic skyline view of the CBD which set the mood for a conducive meeting.

In terms of their downsides, one is that staff professionalism can vary across branches, with some clients noting that it’s inconsistent. Their payment contract (for those availing memberships for regular usage) is also confusing.

Pros

  • Has five branches in Adelaide
  • Good for interstate/intercountry meetings
  • Elegant decor and professional design
  • Accessible fees

Cons

  • Staff professionalism varies among branches
  • Confusing payment contract

The place is at the top of the business lounge!

“The place is at the top of the business lounge!

Reception staff is very kind and beautiful!!

I recommend this meeting room!”
