Pros
- Also sells parts and accessories
- Offers both brand-new and used motorcycles
- Offers a wide variety of brands and models
- Only dealership in Adelaide that offers Ducati
- Offers in-house repair service
Cons
- The showroom can be crowded
- Limited accessories in stock
Adelaide Motorcycle Centre is the official motorcycle dealer of several known motorcycle brands like Ducati, Indian, Sherco, Norton, SWM, Lambretta, and Victory.
AMC is the only dealership in Adelaide that offers Ducati, so it’s a must-visit place for the fans of the brand.
What we love about this dealership is its wide range of brands and models. Aside from the abovementioned brands, they also offer scooters from Benelli, Peugeot, and Super SOCO.
The shop constantly restocks new releases, so you’ll find the latest models of top brands in their showroom. They have bikes like the Ducati DesertX, Ducati Streetfighter V2, Indian Challenger, and Indian FTR.
They also offer a wide range of used bikes from Ducati and Indian, so those who can’t afford brand-new bikes can look into those.
The only downside of having this much stock is having a somewhat crowded showroom. Because most of the floor area is occupied by the bikes, you may find it hard to move around.
We also love that they have parts and accessories available in their showroom, making it convenient for buyers and customers to come in for repair.
Their stock of accessories, however, is not that vast. If you’re looking for gears that aren’t Indian and Ducati, you may find their inventory pretty disappointing.

Pros
- 25 years in business
- Offers spare parts
- Offers used and new motorcycles
- Wide variety of brands and models
- Accessible location
- In-house repair shop
Cons
- Inefficient repair services
- Customer service can be improved
With 25 years of experience in motorcycle dealing, Moto Adelaide has solidified its reputation as one of the leading motorcycle dealers in Adelaide.
What we love about this shop is how accessible its location is. It’s only 10 minutes away from Adelaide CBD, so getting there wouldn’t be that much of a problem for customers.
They also have car and trailer parking, making it even more convenient for customers coming in to purchase a bike.
We also love how vast and diverse their products are. The shop has bikes from Honda, BMW, KTM, Husqvarna, CFMoto, and Kymco, so customers have a wide range of choices for their next bike.
We also love that they have a huge inventory of spare parts available. They’re the official dealer of BMW, so finding a genuine spare part for your bike won’t be that hard.
Another great thing about this shop is they have an in-house repair service. Rest assured that your bike is in good hands, as they have technicians certified for brands like Honda, KTM, BMW, Husqvarna, CFMoto, and Kymco.
The turnaround on their repair services, however, is inefficient at times. If the part needed for your bike isn’t available, you’ll have to wait several weeks for it to arrive and for the service to be done.
Some also had to bring back their bikes for another repair, as some problems persisted.
We also find the customer service disappointing. Some staff can be rude and abrasive at times, so many customers feel unwelcome and annoyed.
There were also instances when a motorcycle reserved for a customer was sold to someone else, leaving the customer lost.

Pros
- Offers new and used bikes

- In-house repair shop
- Wide range of models
- Offers in-house financing for new and used bikes
- Excellent customer service
Cons
- Can be busy
- Limited stocks of accessories
Established in 1945, Pitmans is one of Adelaide’s largest Yamaha motorcycle dealers. The shop has the latest motorcycles from Yamaha, so you can drop by to check their stocks.
Aside from Yamaha, you’ll also find used bikes from other brands like Suzuki, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, BMW, and more
They have some classic bikes from years ago, so it’s a great place to visit for those who are looking for those types of motorcycles.
As for their brand-new bikes, we love how they have an extremely huge and diverse inventory of motorcycles despite being exclusively Yamaha.
Their motorcycles are categorised under road, offroad, kids, ATV/SSV, and scooter, so you’ll surely find a great motorbike, whatever type you’re looking for.
What stood out to us the most about this dealership is its customer service. The staff are all knowledgeable, making conversations about their bikes delightful to customers.
They also give helpful suggestions about which bike would suit a customer the most, making the purchasing process much easier.
Additionally, negotiations with them run smoothly, and they sometimes give discounts to customers to push through with the sale.
The shop also offers in-house financing for brand-new and used bikes, which greatly helps customers looking for aid with their purchase.
However, there are times when they have a lot of customers, so even if the staff tries to accommodate everyone, you may find yourself waiting for some time.
As for the accessories they offer, they usually have a huge inventory in stock, but there are times when there isn’t much variety. Their parts inventory also isn’t as extensive as other shops.

Pros
- 20 years in business
- Only motorcycle dealer in the south
- In-house repair system
- Wide selection of motorcycles
- Offers both new and used cars
- Offers in-house financing and insurance
- Great customer service
Cons
- Limited gear and accessories
- Can be expensive
What makes Coast Powersports special is the fact that it’s the only motorcycle dealer in the south. It’s located in Morphett Vale and is only 30 minutes away from the CBD.
The shop has a wide range of Yamaha, KTM, and Kawasaki motorcycle inventory, so finding the perfect ride for you shouldn’t be hard.
They have motocross, cruisers, touring, supersport, sports, scooters, ATVs, and more They even have Yamaha’s WaveRunners available in their shop.
We love how helpful and friendly the staff members are to the customers. They’re very willing to explain each bike to customers and give expert advice regarding what bike would suit the customer’s lifestyle.
They’re also patient when dealing with kids who come with their parents to get their first ride.
The shop also has ten staff, so even when they get a lot of customers, they can still accommodate everyone.
The only downsides would be the limited gear and accessories that they offer and the price of certain products.
They don’t have a lot of gear and accessories available in the store, so finding one you would like might not be that easy.
Some of the products can also be really expensive compared to when purchasing online or in a different store, which may be a deal breaker to some.

Pros
- Also offers ATVs and jet skis
- Wide variety of bikes
- Offers both new and used bikes
- Offers in-house financing options
- In-house repair service
Cons
- The quoted price is usually different from the actual price
- Long wait time for ordered parts
- Customer service can be improved
SA Motorcycles prides itself on having a huge range of Kawasaki and Honda motorcycles, and they have all rights to do so.
They have cruiser, classic, street, supersport, touring, and adventure touring bikes from both brands, allowing customers to find a bike for whatever purpose they came for.
They also offer jet skis and scooters, so it’s easy to understand why they’re very proud of their inventory.
If you’re not looking for anything brand new, SA Motorcycles also offer a variety of used bikes from big brands like BMW and Suzuki.
As for the parts, they aren’t as extensive as their motorcycle range, so often, clients have to wait for a long time before they can receive the part they ordered.
The part is also usually more expensive than the quote. Hence, it’s advised to prepare extra bucks if you’re buying something from them.
On the bright side, they offer in-house financing and are very helpful, so arranging payment wouldn’t be that stressful.
They’re also relatively fast with approvals, making the buying process smooth and stress-free.
