Pros
- Comprehensive set of services
- Doctors have international experience
- Simply explains medical issues
- Clinic has sophisticated design
Cons
- Pricey fees
- Doctors have limited schedules
O&G’s strength lies in their comprehensive scope of service. They’ve got almost all clients covered because they have a large team of gynecologists, obstetricians, physiotherapists, and more.
The clinic has a complete set of equipment too, as they provide ultrasound tests, fertility care, laparoscopic surgery, and more.
Their team is one of the most experienced, and some of them even have international experience in Sri Lanka and Ireland. They’re also active lecturers in universities in Adelaide.
In addition, they’ve received much praise from clients because of the way they explain medical problems in an understandable manner.
They have an excellent track record with midwifery, PCOS treatments, and endometriosis. Many also go to them for regular nutrition and fertility advice.
With more than 8 doctors on their team, it’s easy to find a specialist that best suits your condition and specific needs.
We also appreciate their sophisticatedly designed clinic on Barnard Street. You’ll feel at ease because of its homey ambiance and large space.
That said, one downside of the clinic is that their fees are high. It’s a good price, though, given the qualifications of their doctors.
Aside from this, some clients complained of having their appointments continuously rescheduled because of a lack of doctor availability.

Pros
- Offers both medical and cosmetic procedures
- Experienced doctors
- Courteous and professional staff
- Great choice for medical laser treatments
Cons
- Long waiting times
- Hard to book appointment because of high demand
Women’s Health Plus’ selling point is that they offer cosmetic procedures along with the standard medical procedures for women. This all-around service makes them a one-stop solution for many needs.
For medical treatments, they’re especially recommended if you’re dealing with incontinence, prolapse, and vaginal aging. It’s because they use specialized medical laser treatments and urodynamics testing.
Their cosmetic treatments include fungal nail treatments, acne reduction, hyperhidrosis reduction, and vascular lesion removal. Many patients have reported great results from these treatments.
Their doctors have an average of 20 years of experience. Some have worked overseas, and they come from many cultures.
It helps how supportive and thorough they are when handling every client. You’ll feel well-guided through your treatments because they remember patients’ treatment progress well.
In addition, many have complimented their staff’s professionalism and courtesy. They’re helpful and ready to answer inquiries.
If there’s a downside to them, one is that they have long waiting times. This is made more apparent because of their clinic’s small size.
Aside from this, it’s hard to book an appointment if you’re new because many patients regularly visit. This can be an issue for those who need urgent medical attention.

Pros
- Accessible location
- Good with complex birth cases
- Complete services and equipment for women’s health treatments
- Experienced team
Cons
- Only has 2 specialists
- Doctors are sometimes late
Women’s Health Specialists is one of the most accessible clinics in Adelaide. Located on King William Road, they’re minutes away from suburbs near the CBD.
One of their expertise is in obstetrics. They can handle complicated births, such as twins, cesareans, and breech.
They’re great at providing risk counseling and planning throughout the progress of a pregnancy. Mothers will feel well-supported because of their team’s consistency in advising them.
We don’t have any complaints about their services and equipment, as they have all the basics for women’s health. They can provide surgeries, from minimally invasive ones to the most complex.
Their doctors are notable for having international experience, for receiving an Outstanding Academic Achievement, and for their long experience in gynecology and adolescent health.
Speaking of their doctors, however, one downside with the clinic is that they only have two specialists onboard. This lessens the schedules they have available.
Aside from this, they’ve received some complaints about their doctors being late for their appointments.

Pros
- Provides hypnobirthing
- Complete in equipment and services
- Fast processing of health insurance
- Aesthetically pleasing clinic
Cons
- No online reservation tool
- Limited schedules
Burnside Women’s Health’s most interesting offering is hypnobirthing. It’s designed to make the process relaxing for mothers and their partners.
In addition to this, they’ve partnered with Blissful Beginners to provide holistic natal support for mothers. It’s led by Amanda White, who is trained in midwifery and lactation support.
Given that the clinic is linked to Burnside War Memorial Hospital, their equipment is complete and capable of many treatments. These include ultrasound, fertility treatments, and surgery.
Their doctors can deal with many women’s health complications, such as multiple births, menorrhagia, infertility, and more. Plus, they have experience working in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
The clinic is notable for its fast processing of health insurance. We found that their rates are surprisingly affordable given the prestige of Burnside Hospital.
We also like that the clinic is one of the most aesthetically pleasing we’ve seen. The interior is well-kept, and it can accommodate many clients at once.
However, one downside of the clinic is that they don’t have an online reservation tool. This lessens the convenience for the clients.
Another concern of ours is that their schedules are limited, and they’re often fully booked.

Pros

- Can accept urgent cases
- Good for ThermiVa treatments
- Wide range of services
Cons
- Long waiting times for telehealth consultations
- Some clients found their doctors unapproachable
Aware Women’s Health has a large team of 9 specialists, which includes gynecologists, physiotherapists, a psychologist, and an anesthetist.
This large team works in collaboration to provide a comprehensive set of services that includes contraception, nutrition, surgery, abortion, and health maintenance.
Included in their expertise are vaginal surgery, fertility, contraceptives, menopause, and cervical screening.
Notably, one of their doctors has received a nomination for South Australian of the Year.
A highlight of the clinic is that they can accept urgent consultations and treatments. They also have affordable fees for prescription renewals.
One of the treatments that many go to them for is ThermiVa, which is useful for vagina dryness, laxity, and itching. The procedure is safe and done quickly.
AWARE is also actively conducting seminars for the community about topics like women’s mental and sexual health. This establishes their expertise and trustworthiness further.
If there’s anything we didn’t like about them, one is that they’ve received complaints about long waiting times during their online consultations.
Aside from this, some clients were not fond of their doctors because they found some cold and unapproachable.
