Pros
- Modern, contemporary interior
- Meeting rooms available
- Convenient location
Cons
- Noisy environment
- Tight parking space
Miller Apartment offers one, two, and three-bedroom apartments perfect for single and group renters. They’re highly rated for having a spacious, contemporary interior design for a satisfying stay.
Should you plan to organize a business event, they also offer two boardrooms that have two functional air conditioner units, a 60-inch LED screen TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
They’re conveniently located at Hindley Street in the city of Adelaide with easy transport access to numerous renowned attractions in South Australia.
You can easily explore Barossa Valley Wine Region, Kangaroo Island, McLaren Vale, Flinders Ranges, and the Adelaide Hills.
However, this apartment is only best for those who are used to city life. If you’re someone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay, you might want to explore other apartments.
Since it’s located in the middle of a busy street, it can get noisy pretty easily. You’ll be bombarded with loud car sounds and people passing by early in the morning.
Another downside is they have a tight parking space. There were numerous complaints from previous tenants that the parking space is too tight for a fee of $25 a day.
If you’re planning to stay here, we don’t recommend bringing an SUV or any large car models.

- Unmaintained rooms

Should you need anything, they have a 24-hour reception phone line so they can attend to your needs anytime.
What’s more, their apartments come with free unlimited Wi-Fi access, complete kitchen facilities, laundry facilities, and car parking.
However, since the apartment is situated in an old, heritage building, there are a lot of building issues. There are parts of the building that are inhabitable due to a foul smell coming from a leak in the ceiling.
While their rooms are spacious compared to other apartments in the area, they’re also not also maintained. The dishes have dried food marks, the carpets give off a bad smell, and there are a few faulty power plugs.

Cons

As for the facilities, they offer two types of apartments—one is a studio, and the other is a two-bedroom apartment.
There isn’t a lot of room variety, but these can do for solo or group travelers looking for a comfortable place to stay.
Unlike others, we like that they offer free parking that comes with the booking.
However, it can only accommodate small or compact vehicles. If you have an SUV, consider searching for the nearest parking available prior to your booking date.
The apartment building tends to get pretty busy any time of day. If some of their long-term tenants are moving or partying, you can’t really do much but put up with the noise.
You can also easily hear the footsteps of tenants walking from the floor above.
Since it’s also near the airport, airplanes fly low in the area. It can get extremely loud when a plane passes.

Franklin Apartments delivers hotel-class services but with apartment-style accommodation. It’s conveniently located near the restaurants of Waymouth Street, Adelaide Convention Center, the shopping precinct, and Adelaide Central Markets.
They offer one, two, and three-bedroom apartments all with free unlimited Wi-Fi access and secure on-site parking. However, all parking should be booked and paid for in advance.
If you’re staying for a special occasion, they have a Celebration Package you can add to your accommodation. This package comes with a bottle of sparkling wine plus complimentary late checkout.
For business meetings and conferences, they have a couple of rooms to suit your needs. One is a boardroom space for exclusive one-on-one meetings, and the other is a presentation room with a spacious interior and wide-screen TV.
You should also watch out for their promotions. They offer up to 20% discount during their seasonal sales.
Since it’s an old apartment, you might notice some furnishings and facilities are quite old and rusty. Some mattresses are old, and you’ll hear old pipes running through the thin walls.
Rooms are also not that clean and well-maintained. Some previous tenants noticed strands of hair on the bedsheet, dirty marks on the towel, and smelly carpets.
Another downside is that their reception closes at 8 PM. Beyond this hour, you’ll be completely on your own, so make sure you have everything settled before closing time.
