Top 5 Adelaide Clinics for Ultherapy & Other Skin Tightening

Top 5 Adelaide Clinics for Ultherapy & Other Skin Tightening

  • Qualifications. Our priority is to pick clinics that have many years of experience. Additionally, we looked at the educational background of their dermatologists.
  • Facilities. Facilities speak volumes about the clinic’s capabilities. We prioritized those who maintain their clinic well so that it remains hygienic and conducive for skin treatments.
  • Fairness of pricing. Considering that multiple sessions may be needed, the clinic must charge reasonable rates.
  • Professionalism. Lastly, we also considered how well they communicated with clients regarding appointments, complaints, and more.

Pros

  • Experts in non-surgical laser treatments
  • Has many skin tightening treatments
  • Well-maintained clinic
  • Good communication regarding pros and cons of treatment

Cons

  • Doesn’t explicitly state the credentials of staff
  • Pricey rates

BalaBala’s primary expertise lies in non-surgical laser treatments which I find praiseworthy, as they provide excellent results with minimal hassle.

They offer many variations of skin tightening treatments, providing clients with a lot of choices that cater to different preferences and budgets.

During my visit to their clinic, I felt very comfortable, as it was well-maintained and presentable. The receptionists were welcoming and courteous throughout my session.

The clinic boasts over 20 treatment rooms, so I didn’t have to wait long for my session. The tastefully colorful design of the clinic was also aesthetically appealing.

Before commencing my treatment, which was Ultherapy, I was given a thorough description of the procedure.

I appreciated how they provided comprehensive information about the risks and benefits of the treatment without being too technical, which made me feel more secure.

There, I was taught about how Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology to trigger the body’s natural healing process, making it non-invasive and quick to tighten loose skin, both with minimal side effects.

It’s one of the few to be certified by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), so you know it’s very safe!

However, I did notice a couple of downsides to the clinic.

One thing I observed is that they did not explicitly state the credentials of their treatment providers. It would be helpful if they posted this information on their website.

Another downside I’ve seen is that they charge pricey rates.

Pros

  • Welcoming staff
  • Highly experienced
  • Offers other treatments that complement skin tightening
  • Convenient process for booking

Cons

  • Limited schedules available
  • Most of their skin tightening treatments need 4–5 sessions

Jillian Baillie Aesthetics has a highly welcoming vibe that many of their regular clients praised. Many of whom I talked to particularly noted how their receptionists were quick in arranging schedules and notifying them of changes.

Furthermore, I appreciate how convenient it is to book an appointment through their user-friendly website, which also provides detailed information about their treatments.

This same warmth and familiarity extend to their treatment sessions, with one customer stating that she felt she was in safe hands thanks to Jillian Baillie’s thorough explanation of the treatment.

This is not surprising given that most of their specialists have over a decade of experience in laser and injection treatments.

In general, all of their laser treatments are available for most trouble spots of the body, such as the face, neck, and hands. There’s no downtime for the procedure, making it easy to do your day-to-day activities after every treatment.

You can expect some changes within just 1 treatment. Subsequent sessions only make it better!

In addition, the clinic offers a variety of related treatments that clients will most likely avail too, including cosmetic injectables and anti-wrinkle therapies.

However, I noticed that they have limited availability due to high demand and a small team.

Additionally, their laser skin tightening treatment typically requires 4–5 sessions to take full effect, whereas other clinics that provide Ultherapy generally only require 1–2 sessions.

Pros

  • Good qualifications
  • Great track record
  • Multiple types of treatments
  • Hasslefree sessions

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Takes some time to reply

Epiclinic’s strength lies in the qualifications of their team. After comparing their specialists’ years of experience, education, and licenses for dermatological procedures, I found them to be one of the most qualified in Adelaide.

Jemma, their primary clinician, is a versatile professional who provides services involving laser treatments, HydraFacial, hair transplants, and more.

Based on the testimonies of my friends, she has a great track record of providing long-lasting treatments.

Many clients also praise her for making each treatment session hassle-free and straightforward. Her friendly demeanor keeps clients comfortable throughout the process.

The team’s expertise is evident in their ability to handle tough cases of crepey skin and high levels of laxity. Together, they have successfully treated many senior patients.

I also appreciate how they offer many types of skin tightening treatments, including AcuPulse and Exilis. This allows the treatment to be done not only for the face but also for the body.

Exilis, in particular, has received much praise because it treats many skin issues such as wrinkles and frown lines. It has very few side effects and is compatible with both men and women.

If you’re availing of their service, do take note that their prices are quite pricey compared to other clinics in Adelaide.

Another downside is that they took some time to answer the messages I sent through their website.

Pros

  • Good qualifications
  • Excellent track record
  • Has multiple treatment types offered
  • Clinic is easy to visit

Cons

  • Has cases of rude customer communication
  • Limited schedules available

Medical Cosmetic Centre has strict guidelines for the qualifications of their staff, making them a reliable choice. Their theater staff complies with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

Their head doctor, George Kerry, has over 25 years of experience. According to the clients I’ve talked to, his expertise can be seen in how well he tailors treatment plans for each client.

The clinic has an excellent track record of providing easily visible results. They use the Pelleve skin treatment, which stimulates collagen growth in the skin.

The clients I talked to said that contrary to what they expected, the minor heat from the Pelleve machine was relaxing rather than painful. They also said their skin started to feel firmer while receiving the treatment, meaning that the treatment worked fast.

Another treatment they provide is LED light treatment, which is well-researched and effective. It uses wavelengths that can reach deeper skin cells, helping increase collagen production.

The LED light treatment is also highly affordable, especially when you avail of packaged sessions.

Moreover, their clinic is conveniently located on Melbourne Street, making it easy to visit by bus.

However, they could improve their customer communication, as I heard complaints from some clients about receiving rude service from the clinic’s receptionist.

Another downside is that their schedules are limited due to high demand.

Pros

  • Broad range of skin tightening treatments offered
  • Highly informative and accommodating representatives
  • Well-designed clinic
  • Has many packages for treatments

Cons

  • Staff is a bit inexperienced
  • Limited number of specialists

Skinlab Laser Aesthetics offers one of the broadest ranges of skin tightening treatments among clinics in Adelaide, including Infini, Thermage, Hydrafacial, facial injections, and more.

Thermage, in particular, is a radiofrequency treatment that is a favorite among many. It’s long-lasting, affordable, and highly effective for boosting collagen levels.

Thermage can address issues in almost any age or face shape. It stimulates the body’s natural healing capabilities, allowing the skin to have better tone and texture.

Another standout treatment is Hydrafacial because it feels relaxing and soothing to the skin, comes with a mask treatment, and is done within 30 minutes. It mixes hydration, exfoliation, and cleansing in one treatment, making it very effective.

Moreover, most of the clients I talked to agreed that their representatives were highly informative and accommodating. Even over the phone, they can explain what makes each treatment different from the others.

Their clinic is also one of the most well-designed ones we’ve seen. It’s minimal and clean, giving a welcoming vibe to waiting clients.

I also noticed that they have many packages available, especially for skin tightening procedures, which gives you many choices to choose from.

Furthermore, the majority of their staff speaks Mandarin, making it great for those who are more comfortable with this language.

However, one downside is that most of their staff members are a bit inexperienced compared to the staff of other clinics in Adelaide.

Another thing to note is that they only have four specialists available for skin tightening sessions, many of whom also do other treatments. This means that your preferred specialist may not always be available.
