Pros

  • Established in 1972
  • Large spaces
  • Has a vet on call for 24 hours
  • Clean spaces

Cons

  • Minimum of 2 days of stay
  • Has complaints of keeping 2 dogs in one space

Golden Grove Boarding Kennels & Cattery was established in 1972, making them a highly trusted boarding company. They have one of the most spacious areas we’ve seen.

Through this, there are more opportunities for recreation and frolicking for your pets. In addition, they’re great at managing different breed temperaments.

At up to 1.5 x 8.5 meters for dog units and 700 square meters for every large dog, beloved pets are sure to feel comfortable.

In addition, they have a veterinarian that is on call 24 hours a day. They’re great at following instructions for medicine.

Furthermore, they don’t cut corners when it comes to cleaning. They have routine sterilization processes to ensure maximum cleanliness for their boarding spaces.

That said, a downside we’ve seen is that they require at least two days for boarding. This is increased to four to seven days during holidays.

Aside from this, some clients complained of instances where their pets were kept in a single space with another dog.

Pros

  • Near Adelaide Airport
  • Large indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Uses premier beds
  • Has a fountain for dogs

Cons

  • Pricey rates
  • Has cases of miscommunication regarding pricing

Beau’s Pet Hotel is placed near Adelaide Airport, which makes it convenient for clients who will have vacations abroad.

The hotel has more than 50,000 square feet, making it one of the biggest pet hotels in Adelaide. It has outdoor and indoor play yards, so pets can still play even during inclement weather.

Further making it a great choice for recreation is the play place Central Bark, which has a water fountain.

Your dogs will get the best rest, as they use high-end Kuranda beds that are anti-chew and made for all dog sizes.

They provide premium offerings for breakfast and dinner as well. They can accommodate fussy eaters too through their alternative menu.

We like how they have many types of suites offered, much like a human hotel. They have classic, short-stay, deluxe, and premier suites.

Plus they have a convenient booking tool on their website. It’s easy to put the duration of stay, how many pets will stay, and other specifications.

If there’s one thing we didn’t like, however, it’s that their rates are pricey. Given the deluxe accommodations your pet receives, it’s reasonable.

Another thing is that some clients experienced miscommunications regarding pricing.

Pros

  • Has been around since 1985
  • Staff are good at handling different temperaments
  • Allows insulin injections
  • Has behavioral specialists

Cons

  • Unsatisfactory response to complaints
  • Not as clean as other boarding services

Hedgegrove Pet Retreat has been around since 1985, and they have staff available 24/7. They’re highly responsive to customer inquiries, which makes you feel more confident that your pet is safe.

They have a great bedding service for their dogs that’s complete with flea-proof sheets and temperature-controlled ventilation.

Their rooms are designed to be snug and secure, which makes dogs feel more comfortable. Each is always equipped with water bowls and premier dog food.

One of the best aspects of the place is its staff, who are great at making dogs socialize with each other. In addition, they have behavioral specialists to make the boarders and handlers get along with each other.

A highlight with them is that they allow insulin injections for a charge of $8. This service isn’t always available in most dog accommodation services.

Unfortunately, a downside with them is that their response to customer complaints isn’t satisfactory.

Aside from this, some clients found their place not as clean as other dog boarding services.

Pros

  • Spacious rooms
  • Wide outdoor space
  • Well-coordinated pet chauffeur services
  • Has many branches

Cons

  • High daily rates
  • Slow response to emails and calls

Kip has one of the most spacious rooms for dogs we’ve seen. Each is kept clean and at an appropriate temperature.

They have expansive grounds for leisure and recreation. It has many drinking spots, toys, and resting spaces for your furry pets.

One thing we also liked is their pet chauffeur services which are well-coordinated with clients. They make sure to keep your pet comfortable throughout the trip.

In addition, Kip has many branches all over South Australia. These include ones in Adelaide, Brisbane, Brunswick, Fairfield, and more.

Most of their locations offer grooming and training services.

We also found their online booking tool well-designed and easy to use.

If there’s anything we didn’t like, it’s that their daily rates are high.

Aside from this, they take some time to respond to emails and calls.

Pros

  • User-friendly online booking and flexible drop-off times
  • Glowing testimonials and a trail of satisfied customers
  • Quality service that justifies the investment

Cons

  • Fully booked sometimes due to popularity

At Alfadog, we’ve found a haven where tails wag in delight, offering a premium dog boarding experience that stands out in a canine crowd.

Our furry friends deserve nothing but the best, and Alfadog delivers. From spacious suites with plush bedding to a tailored menu catering to even the most discerning doggy palate, their services redefine canine comfort.

Bid farewell to the guilt of leaving your four-legged companion behind.

Alfadog’s convenient online booking system and flexible drop-off hours make planning your pet’s stay as easy as a walk in the park. Our experience was seamless, allowing us to focus on our trip with peace of mind.

In the realm of dog boarding, Alfadog reigns supreme. With a trail of wagging tales and glowing testimonials, their reputation precedes them.

Our research was met with countless stories of tails held high in excitement upon arrival – a testament to the joyful experience Alfadog provides.

Quality often comes at a premium, but Alfadog strikes the perfect balance, in our opinion.

While their rates might not be a steal, the value delivered in return is undeniable. The investment in our pet’s happiness and well-being was met with outstanding service and care.

Security isn’t just a buzzword at Alfadog; it’s a top priority. We were impressed by their stringent safety measures, including 24/7 supervision, secure play areas, and a commitment to a healthy environment.

Knowing our canine companion was in capable hands left us with a sense of relief, which we appreciate so much.

However, they don’t offer special paw-mos (promos). We suggest checking in with them to know about their other bark-tastic deals.

Pros

  • Has a unique technique for making dogs relaxed
  • Long visitation hours
  • Well-conducted pet taxi services
  • Rooms are well-ventilated and clean

Cons

  • Not as spacious as others
  • Expensive premium dog food

Dogwise Daycare has a notable approach to taking care of dogs known as the cognitive-relational technique. Through this, the pets are made more comfortable while in their rooms.

The carer is carefully matched with your dog’s personality. They consider different breeds and temperaments.

Additionally, they have long time windows for dropping off your pets and visiting. This makes it highly convenient for those who have tight schedules.

We also like the way they conduct pet taxi services. It’s highly convenient, and their transportation staff is easy to contact.

We don’t have issues with their rooms either, as they’re well-ventilated, good for different dog sizes, and always kept clean.

That said, a downside is that their space isn’t as big as other dog boarding services in Adelaide.

Another thing is that the premium food they offer is expensive, with its price ranging from $34.95 to $79.95.
