I love riding my bike around Adelaide, from the river to the city streets. It’s a fun way to get around, but lately the dust and traffic during rush hour have been getting to me.
By the time I get home, my skin feels gritty and tired. I know how easily dust can clog pores and cause irritation, so I started getting HydraFacial treatments at a local clinic. They exfoliate, hydrate, and leave my face feeling fresh!

Since I’m fairly new to HydraFacial treatments, I wanted to start with a clinic that felt like good value for money. I chose Clear Skincare Clinic, which began in 1999 and now has two locations in Adelaide.
Their HydraFacial is straightforward and can be done in about 30 minutes. It’s different from a regular facial because it uses a vortex suction to lift away dirt while infusing the skin with hydrating serums to keep the skin nourished.
I like that they have a price match guarantee, so if you find the same treatment cheaper somewhere else, they’ll beat it. They also offer lower rates if you book multiple sessions in advance.
However, I’m a bit disappointed to have come across the occasional rude behaviour from their staff, something a few other clients have also mentioned. I genuinely hope this is addressed soon.

Laser Skin & Vein Clinic has been part of Adelaide’s cosmetic scene since 1998, which means they have decades of experience. It’s a medically focused clinic, so every HydraFacial starts with a free nurse consultation and a medical review to make sure the treatment is safe and effective for you.
I like that they offer treatment packages where you can add a couple of extra services to your HydraFacial. These often include skin boosters and LED treatments, which can give your skin an extra lift.
They also run special deals fairly often, so with a bit of timing, you can book at a lower price.
The only downside is that appointments can be hard to get because they book out quickly. This might also explain why it can sometimes be tricky to get a response to calls or emails.

The Body Haus is a relatively new clinic for skin treatments, but there are a few things that make it worth including on this list. They don’t just stick to the standard HydraFacial; they also offer a Platinum Package.
This option exfoliates and nourishes the skin while including lymphatic drainage to help with puffiness and circulation. It also comes with customised boosters that target concerns such as pigmentation or fine lines.
It’s also worth mentioning that they run monthly promotions, so finding a deal isn’t too hard if you keep an eye out. Furthermore, Afterpay and Zip Pay are available, which can make the cost easier to manage if you prefer smaller instalments.
The main drawback is the $170 fee for initial consultations. They’re also closed on Sundays and Mondays, which can make scheduling a bit harder for some people.

If you’re thinking about making HydraFacial a regular part of your routine, IN2U Aesthetics is worth a look. Founded in 2021, their membership plan lets you pay a set price weekly or monthly to access many of their treatments instead of paying for each one. Members also get neat perks like priority booking and extra discounts!
Another thing I like is that they offer free skin consultations so you can decide if HydraFacial suits you. New clients can also save $50 on their first treatment.
That said, their prices are on the higher side, so this clinic may not be the best choice if you don’t plan to join the membership program. Apart from the free consultation, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment.

Their HydraFacial treatments are quite thorough, starting with a deep cleanse and exfoliation before moving on to extracting impurities and infusing the skin with hydrating serums.
What’s interesting is that they also offer LED light therapy as an add-on, which can give your skin a healthy boost and help with recovery.
It’s also a good thing that they offer discounts when you pre-purchase multiple sessions, which makes it easier on the budget. New clients can also book a free skin consultation to see if HydraFacial is the right fit.
However, they lack a proper online booking system, so you’ll need to call to lock in a spot.
