We’d describe Mould Doctor as detail-obsessed. Their certified staff give properties the full “building forensics” treatment, collecting swab tests, surface, and air samples obtained using industry-backed methods.
Reports are then issued to clients. Included within the documents are room-by-room photos, moisture/humidity readings, the causes of mould in a certain property, and prevention tips.
Non-invasive removal or remediation follows. It’s carried out by a seasoned lot kitted with pro-grade Goldmorr products, which are proven to be highly effective.
Most clients have no grumbles with the service itself. They applaud the politeness of specialists (like James) and the minimal downtime.

My workmates who booked them agree with that sentiment. Most praised Arthur Patel and his staff for pulling up right on time, even if the appointment was set less than an hour ago.
The 24/7 helpline makes it happen. Responses tend to come quickly, no matter the hour, so booking them for nighttime or weekend emergency services isn’t impossible.
By services, we’re talking about mould testing, removal, and remediation, alongside water or fire damage restoration. Each offering employs solid tech, mainly thermal imaging detectors and LGR dehumidifiers.
One bump to consider is A1Restoration’s longevity. Having opened in 2023, they’re our newest entrant.

Would recommend Arthur and his business team without hesitation for a prompt service. They were punctual, friendly and professional as they worked to treat water and mould damage from inside some cupboard walls, which resulted from a leak. They gave us honest advice about our health with regards to the mould and left equipment (I’m sure they could have used elsewhere) with us for over 2 months that helped retain some heat within the house as we had a large hole in the kitchen pipelines. Giving props to Bensons Cleaning Services is almost a no-brainer. Goldmorr Master Technicians make up their anti-mould crew, and the company kicked off in 2008.
Tough to dispute their GM6000 and GM2000 products either. Both are science-backed, biodegradable, and non-invasive, the latter even non-toxic.
It also helps that clients rarely have to wait; owner Scott Hermsen and his team are said to be punctual and efficient. Word is that it remains true even for short-notice jobs.
Just a shame there’s no round-the-clock support for mould-related services. Not saying that Bensons’ reply game is slow, but a 24/7 helpline would be ace.
Another minor snag is their popularity. Mould removal aside, their carpet, rug, upholstery, and commercial cleaning services are in demand.
The neat part is that you can enjoy some of those offerings for no extra cost. Post-removal, they clean up sites, and they do it well.

Beyond that, they’re a nationwide company with IIRC-certified specialists who have dealt with mould across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. What’s even better is their portfolio features big-name brands such as Marsh and Charles Taylor.
Gear-wise, theirs is among the best here. BioSweeping, dry ice blasting, vacuum freezing, and desiccant dehumidifying are just some of the efficient and versatile tech they employ, some of which are eco-friendly.
Sadly, Steamatic’s cleanup game isn’t as meticulous as the rest. Some clients even went off about how messy their space looked after the job was finished.
Comms aren’t perfect either, especially in terms of response speed and update proactivity. That’s a pity, given they’re marketed as a 24/7 operation.
