Turning Clothes into Canvases with the Best Screen Printing Services in Adelaide

  • Reputation and experience: We found printers with a track record of reliability, a minimum experience of 1 year, and frequent recommendations both online and by word of mouth.
  • Customer service: After talking to their staff, I chose these businesses because all of them have displayed patience for challenging requests, empathy for customer troubles, and a pleasant attitude.
  • Range of services: Each screen printing shop here offers many services such as embroidery, print designs, custom merch designs, and many more. I selected the ones that provide more services.
  • Quality of prints: I determined high-quality prints based on these factors: clarity, cleanliness, and vibrancy of the result.

I always admire how stylish a shirt looks when it has a nice, glossy print on it. As much as I want to print my own designs on different products, I’m just an average Joe who doesn’t own the equipment and resources to do it.

Fortunately, I found some neat screen printing shops around me that can help bring my ideas to life. They’re the ones to visit if you want premium and durable prints!

You would be forgiven for thinking that Just Print It Australia was run by a large company given the quality of their work. In reality, it’s a local business led by Josie and her family.

For screen printing, the shop uses plastisol ink to create a glossy finish. As for apparels, they mainly use cotton and polyester-based items.

Additionally, they offer other printing methods such as laser engraving.

However, the business comprises a small team, thus commissions by them may take longer compared to larger competitors who can provide the same services at a faster rate.

Pros

  • Personable staff
  • High-quality prints
  • Multiple printing choices

Cons

  • Small team
  • Takes longer to finish large orders

    Josie is a true professional

“I have been using Just Print It Australia for all things print marketing for over 5 years now. Josie is a true professional and expert in her field. Now with event hire in her business too the added convenience is just super helpful. Highly recommend for print services and signwriting.”

Fully Promoted provides various apparel for printing. With many blank suppliers, such as JB’s Wear, Aussie Pacific, and Bisley Workwear, the company can make casual wear, uniforms, workwear, and many more.

For screen printing, they use plastisol ink and water-based ink for a more breathable and comfortable result.

Moreover, the company has three locations in Adelaide: Edwardstown, Morphett Vale, and Prospect. This gives the convenience of choosing whichever is closest to you.

Unfortunately, their prices can be higher than others.

    Pros

    • Located in 3 areas in Adelaide for travel convenience
    • High-quality prints
    • Speedy production

    Cons

    • Higher prices on services and products than other brands

Amazing at explaining how things work

Loved the experience with Fully Promoted. This was my first time getting any branded clothing and Tracey was amazing at explaining how things work and ensuring I got what I needed. I was able to change over one of the items as the sizing was too big and I was communicated to all the way thru the process. Thank you again for a great experience.

Founded in 2020, The Print Parlour began as a side hustle that eventually grew into a larger brand thanks to its owner, Adam Geisler.

The team mostly uses plastisol ink to achieve a glossy finish to their prints. With diligent color mixing, they can create vibrant and clean prints. Water-based inks are also included in their ink choices.

Additionally, I like that this shop offers custom merch designs and embroidery.

If there is a downside to them, it’s that the shop has a small team, meaning their commissions take longer to finish than other shops, 20 business days to be exact.

      Pros

      • Services include embroidery and custom merch design
      • Stylish designs
      • High-quality prints

      Cons

      • Small team
      • Takes a while to finish orders

Pure Ink has a unique approach to designs and prints. They tend to use monochrome and duo-chrome color schemes.

They also use graffiti lettering in their designs. As for inks, they use plastisol to achieve a shiny finish.

Similar to other shops on our list, they have the advantage of having their own blank suppliers, such as Colour Plane and American Apparel, so you are given different fabrics to choose from, mostly consisting of cotton and polyester.

Furthermore, they also offer embroidery and relabelling on custom garments.

If there are any downsides to them, as with most local printing shops on this list, it’s that the team is quite small so bulk orders will take longer to finish.

        Pros

        • High-quality prints
        • Offers embroidery and relabelling
        • Excellent customer service

        Cons

        • Small team
        • Takes longer to finish large orders

Artoprint focuses on fast and efficient printing services with a production time of 5–10 business days depending on the order size. Using plastisol and water-based inks, they achieve a glossy and stylish finish to their designs.

They will also accommodate you if you bring your own garments for screen printing.

A downside to them, however, is the fact that they’re more expensive. Even if you bring your own garment, the price remains the same.

          Pros

          • Clear, simple, and clean prints
          • Faster production than other brands

          Cons

          • Higher prices for both services and products than other brands

If you need a local Adelaide shirt printer, go and see these guys

“Extremely happy with the service and product. Second time i’ve used Artoprint and i’ll be going back. If you need a local Adelaide shirt printer, go and see these guys. You can also collect from the premises. They’re more than happy to help with any queries or questions.

            10/10”

Was quite glad that Artoprint was able to help me out

“Went to get assistance with doing a colour test where the two main places that you’d think could’ve helped me out couldn’t/wouldn’t, Was quite glad that Artoprint was able to help me out and had the same type of printer which helped me with my process of elimination for the colour issue I was having with my printer.

            Much respect!”
