The 5 Best Physiotherapy Clinics in Adelaide Homepage

The 13 Best Physiotherapy Clinics in Adelaide

Qualifications. We made sure to pick fully licensed and trained professionals. In addition, they must have many years of experience to make them more credible.

Convenience. It’s best for a clinic to have an accessible location. In addition, they must be responsive to your inquiries and appointment setting.

Pricing. To make it easier to receive multiple treatments, we prefer clinics with more affordable rates.

Expertise. Because physiotherapy covers many areas, we chose clinics that have therapists who specialize in different types of treatments.

Pros

  • More than 30 years of experience
  • Complete in equipment
  • Offers many treatments
  • Convenient location

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Irregular operating hours

Kinetic Rehabilitation + Performance is notable for having a highly experienced staff with more than 30 years of experience.

Wahib Joubeir, their lead physiotherapist, is involved with many local sports communities and clubs. In addition, he has expertise in complex pain disorders and biomechanical assessment.

The clinic has a good location near Tea Tree Gully and Gilles Plains. It’s accessible via public transport and also has adequate parking spaces.

They can accommodate same-day and after-hours requests. Through this, busy clients can still receive treatment.

Equipment is one of their strengths. With them, you get access to a complete weight set, a pool, and a comfortable clinic.

This allows them to provide a wide range of services, including podiatry and hydrotherapy. In addition, they’re adequately staffed with professionals for these treatments.

From what we’ve seen, a downside with them is their high rates. With their complete equipment, we found it to be justified though.

Aside from this, their operating hours are also irregular. This makes it more likely for busy clients to book after-hour sessions, which are pricier.

Pros

  • Complete equipment
  • Large team that has good qualifications
  • Accessible location
  • Consistent operating schedule

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Some clients complained about having too many follow-up appointments

City Physio is recommended by many clients because of the effectiveness of the individualized treatments they perform.

They ensure that you’re guided about your progress every session. Their professionals are friendly and accommodating.

What we like best about them is how easy it is to rent their equipment to be used for personal training and physiotherapy. It’s complete and compatible with various treatment programs.

In addition, you can get an affordable three-month membership with them. Through this, you can get access to weights, Pilates equipment, chi balls, toning equipment, and more.

Their team is composed of experts with many years of experience. Linda Shacklock, their head physiotherapist, is skilled with office work-related, postural, and pregnancy pains.

In addition, they’re members of both Sports Medicine Australia and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Through these, their continued training and education are ensured.

Finally, their location in the city is accessible. This, partnered with their consistent schedule, makes them a good option for those who have busy schedules.

Overall, they’re an excellent choice because of their informative representatives, complete equipment, and good qualifications.

A downside we saw, though, is that some clients found that they recommend too many follow-up sessions.

Another thing is that their treatment plans are pricier compared to other clinics. Because of this, prepare your budget before visiting them.

Pros

  • Broad range of expertise
  • Has an anti-gravity treadmill
  • Has an award-winning podiatry team
  • Transparent with fees

Cons

  • Some clients complained about their representatives’ communication
  • Services are highly in demand

Physio Fit Adelaide’s main selling point is the broad expertise of their physiotherapists. This includes rehabilitation, Olympic-athlete injuries, strength training, and conditioning.

They offer many services. With them, you can avail of advanced biomechanics analysis that’s effective for preventing injuries and energy conservation.

They have an anti-gravity treadmill that’s notable for its effectiveness in healing injuries like tendinopathy, shin splints, osteoarthritis, and fasciitis.

We like how transparent they are with their fees, both through their website and in physical consultations. They make sure to accommodate any budget constrictions you have.

In addition, the company was given the Small and Succeeding Business Award by Telstra South Australia.

Knowing this, you may be more confident about their treatments for any foot-related injuries and diseases.

They have a total of two locations, one in Findon and another in Modbury. These make it more convenient to avail of their services.

Finally, we like how convenient it is to book a schedule with them, as their website is easy to use. They respond quickly to inquiries via phone too.

However, one downside we saw with them is that some clients complained of their representatives’ way of communicating. Specifically, some found their treatment explanation to be inadequate.

Aside from this, their services are availed by many. Because of this, be sure to book in advance to get an appointment at your desired time and date.

Pros

  • Highly skilled physiotherapists
  • Goes beyond the general physiotherapy approach

Cons

  • Closed on Sundays

Physio Smart is surely the place with some of the best physiotherapists in Adelaide.

What we like about them is that they set themselves apart from other physiotherapists by going beyond the general approach.

Their highly skilled team works on the body as a whole to heal aches and pains. For example, they use the highest level of movement analysis to connect movement patterns to musculoskeletal problems.

With their approach, they get to the root of the problem in order to provide better treatment.

Unlike many others, they want to prevent issues from coming back. In short, their goal is to completely heal their patients.

We like the variety of their services which include Physiotherapy, Massage Therapies, SFMA™, FMS™, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Exercise classes, Pilates, and Hydrotherapy.

Even if you don’t have pains, they have something for you to live an overall happy and healthy life.

If you’d like to live a pain free and good life, we think a visit to their clinic might just do the trick. We highly recommend!

Pros

  • Has a research-based approach to physiotherapy
  • Accommodating and friendly team
  • Quickly responds to inquiries
  • Expertise in telehealth treatments

Cons

  • Fewer years of experience as a team compared to other clinics
  • Small clinic

Form Physiotherapy is notable for their goal of innovating the medical practice through continued research, training, and testing. Through this, their methods are kept timely and updated.

This can be seen in how they conduct treatments, as their representatives are very thorough in guiding you through all the injuries.

It also helps that they’re very accommodating and friendly. They make sure to listen to your needs and preferences thoroughly.

One of their expertise is in conducting telehealth treatments. For this, they provide a unique recovery coach program for chronic pain management.

We like it because of its simplicity and effectiveness. Given that regular appointments can be difficult for those with injuries, this method is highly appreciated by many clients.

With them, you can get responses to your inquiries within 48 hours of contacting them. In addition, booking a schedule with them is easy through their well-made website.

While they check most of our boxes, a downside is that their clinic is smaller compared to others.

Another thing is that their team has fewer years of experience compared to other clinics.

Pros

  • All-around treatment options
  • Attentive representatives
  • Has two branches
  • Well-designed and fully equipped rooms

Cons

  • Irregular schedule
  • Limited slots

Therapia provides all-around treatments using a blend of physiotherapy, massage, yoga, and Pilates. They design a specific plan for each individual using a blend of these for the best results.

You can see their dedication to practicing research-based methods, such as the Franklin Method and the Mckenzie method for improving flexibility and relieving body pain.

Additionally, their representatives are considerate and attentive to your needs. They also explain the massage plan they will tailor for you well.

Next, they offer many clinical exercises that help in providing holistic treatment for you. Their equipment and rooms for these are fully equipped and well-designed for comfort.

The fact that they offer classes to both the community and health professionals makes them more credible too. It also helps in raising public health awareness.

They have two branches, one in Adelaide and one in Yankalilla, which make them more convenient to visit.

Lastly, their website is well-designed. It’s informative and easy to use for booking a schedule.

It also has a live chat system that makes it more convenient to use.

With them, a downside that we’ve seen is that their operating hours are irregular. This can make it hard to memorize for clients.

Finally, upon checking, their schedules are easily filled for the month because they only allow limited slots. This can be inconvenient for those with busy schedules.

We recommend them for their integrated healthcare team that combines their expertise to provide the best possible outcomes for each child.

What we like about them is their multi-disciplinary, family-centred approach to children with physical impairments. Their team makes therapy something that’s enjoyed and not resented.

What’s more is that their treatments are evidence-based so you’re sure that it will be of high quality and something that wasn’t haphazardly created.
