The 5 Best Mole Removal Clinics in Adelaide

The 5 Best Mole Removal Clinics in Adelaide

Qualifications. Mole removal is an intricate process that requires adequate knowledge and training on the part of the dermatologist.

We checked the dermatologists’ backgrounds in medical school, residencies in hospitals local and abroad, and memberships to professional dermatological associations.

Quality of procedure. It’s important for the Adeliade mole removal clinic to have a good track record and services complementary to mole removal in case the client will also need them.

Fees. Mole removal shouldn’t put a dent in our pocket. We chose Adelaide mole removal clinics with reasonable fees and staff that explain these well.

Convenience. We considered how easy it is to book an appointment with them along with their responsiveness to questions.

Pros

  • Head practitioner has more than 28 years of experience
  • Expertise in skin cancer cases
  • Uses radio wave technology for mole removal
  • Very accommodating

Cons

  • Small team
  • Qualifications aren’t the best

Skin Doctor SA specializes in cases of skin cancer and mole removal in Adelaide. The clinic employs many treatments related to it, including photodynamic therapy.

Their head practitioner is Dr. Louis who has more than 28 years of experience. His expertise is in treating sun-damaged skin and skin cancer treatment.

Because of this, he can quickly detect if your mole needs surgical biopsy in case it is malignant. After all, this case will need further treatment and tests.

Their clinic aims for a sutureless treatment by using radio wave technology. This results in a fast procedure that leaves little to no scarring.

On top of it all, their staff is accommodating and responsive to patients’ requests. This makes regular visits to them comfortable.

If there’s a downside to them, it is that their team is small. This results in their schedules being limited compared to other clinics.

Aside from this, one of their doctors is a registered psychologist. While she has training in aesthetic procedures, she may not be the most qualified for administering them.

The Medical Cosmetic Centre has been around for 25 years. Their experience can be seen in their streamlined process for their patients from start to finish.

With them, you get access to multiple mole removal methods in Adelaide. These include cauterization, surgery, cryosurgery, and laser removal.

In addition, they have many similar procedures provided, including laser skin rejuvenation, liposuction, pigmentation treatment, medical microdermabrasion, and more.

These are made possible by the advanced equipment in their clinic. Their team has the certifications and training for handling these.

What makes them stand out is their well-explained pricing. They provide multiple payment methods and many packages for their procedures.

But a downside to them is that their fees are high. Be sure to avail yourself of their packages to get the most value for your money.

Aside from this, some clients weren’t fond of their phone receptionists, as they found them unhelpful.

Pros

  • Expertise in skin cancer cases
  • Affordable rates
  • Multiple methods for mole removal
  • Welcoming staff

Cons

  • Limited schedules available
  • Range of services is limited compared to other clinics

Adelaide Skin Cancer Clinic is led by Dr. Bhat, who has more than 10 years of experience handling skin cancer cases.

He has a great track record when it comes to skin surgery. His expertise came from years of treating vineyard farmers who had skin cancer because of long hours under the sun.

The clinic has one of the most affordable rates in Adelaide, from initial checkups to excisions. They charge $50 for checkups and $150 for excisions.

The Adelaide clinic has multiple methods for mole removal including electrodesiccation, cryotherapy, and surgery. Aside from this, they have tools for computerized dermoscopy and skin biopsies.

It’s a bonus that their clinic is well-cleaned and their receptionists are warm and welcoming!

That said, a downside to them is their staff is limited, which results in fewer schedules available. Getting a slot may be difficult.

Aside from this, the range of services they provide is limited compared to other clinics.

Pros

  • Has 2 branches
  • Experienced head doctor
  • Thorough with providing information
  • Has many services provided

Cons

  • Has cases of abruptly moving schedules
  • Schedules are easily filled

Skin Cancer Clinic has two branches, one in West Hindmarsh and one in Salisbury. This makes them an accessible choice for many.

Their head practitioner is Dr. Vu who has more than 20 years of experience in the field. He has certifications in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, dermal imaging, and more.

We didn’t find any issues with the services they provide. They give cryo therapies, skin cancer treatment, digital mole scanning, mole biopsies, and more.

Another strength of the clinic is in how they provide information for clients both in-person and through their website. This makes you feel more confident about the effectiveness of the treatment.

Plus, their fees are more affordable compared to other clinics. They are easy to transact with in case you will use Medicare to cover your fees.

But there are minor downsides to them.

First is that they’ve had cases of abruptly moving schedules. This is inconvenient for clients with busy schedules.

Aside from this, their schedules are easily filled due to high demand. This means that you’ll have to work a bit to secure a slot.

Pros

  • Prioritizes early detection and prevention
  • Advanced technology use
  • Has many locations in Australia
  • Accommodating representatives

Cons

  • Pricey fees
  • Team isn’t as qualified as other clinics

Molemap gets its name from the unique way that they conduct checkups. Rather than only spotting melanoma and cancerous growth that have already formed, they can predict the growth of these.

This is made possible by their use of advanced technology called EarlyDetect. Through this, malignant moles are treated before they become worse.

Their detection results can then be given to a certified dermatologist, who can help you develop a comprehensive plan to ensure that your skin remains healthy.

Plus, the clinic has many locations all over Australia, making them convenient to visit. These include branches in Adelaide, Victoria, and New South Wales.

Besides that, we appreciate that their representatives are accommodating. They explain the technology they use and interpret its results in a way that is easy to understand.

That said, a downside to them is that their fees are pricey, especially if you will do a full body checkup.

Aside from this, their team isn’t as qualified as other clinics’, especially if one compares certifications and years of experience.
