Capture your baby’s picture-perfect beginnings with the best newborn photographers in Adelaide

Adelaide Newborn Photography captures the innocence of babies with a gentle and elegant style, making them my top choice. Their use of soft lighting and simple poses gave us amazing results that highlighted my baby’s natural features. 

The studio is led by Lisa, whose work has been awarded by FindAPhotographer and the Academy of Newborn Photography multiple times. She has been working for a decade and is trained especially to handle newborns.

One of their standout services is the “newborn lifestyle” session, where the newborn poses with the family in various settings like the bedroom or living room. The resulting shots are dynamic, thanks to Lisa’s simple yet effective direction.

In addition, her photography session package has good inclusions, including a linen photo folder, matte-printed photos, and props.

That said, her appointment slots are limited. They may also take a few days to respond to their website contact form.

Kate & Co. Family Photographers is a great option if you want to be creative with the backdrop for newborn photography, may that be a studio, forest and field, or a beach. 

The studio is led by Kate, who brings over 20 years of experience to her work. Her photography style features a minimalist color palette of earthy tones, capturing dramatic shots through high contrast and strong composition.

They provide many options for printed shots, including traditional albums, folio, wall art, acrylic blocks, collage frames, and more. 

Their team is also praised for being warm and friendly, which helps make sessions comfortable for families. 

In terms of downsides, however, their services are pricey. Also, her appointment slots are limited.

Jennifer White Photography is an excellent choice if comfort and safety are your priorities. Their studio was designed for maximum family convenience, featuring kitchen facilities, coffee machines, a lounge, and more.

With over 10 years of photography experience, Jennifer is trained to handle newborns and ensure they remain at ease throughout the session. Her dedicated assistant helps keep the session moving quickly.

Her photography style is colorful and employs lots of props, making for creative shots.

It’s easy to choose among their pricing packages (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond), as each has clearly listed inclusions and reasonable rates.

However, those living in the CBD might find the location a bit far, as it’s 30 minutes away in Happy Valley. Additionally, their print processing is sometimes delayed for a couple of days.

 All I can say is that we had a great time having our photos taken by her, she is very professional and friendly.

The Little Oak Studio has a minimalist and simple photo style that mostly uses muted, earthy tones.

The studio is led by Rachel, whose dedication to maximum communication and collaboration with clients is commendable. She takes her time to conduct pre-photography sessions with clients so their expectations are met.

She has great photo display options, including polaroids kept in a keepsake box, framed prints, ice mounts, wooden prints, and wooden block stands.

Many have also praised the studio for being accommodating of last-minute requests and appointments.

In terms of downsides, the drive to their studio from the CBD can take 40 minutes. Also, some may find her photos a bit too simplistic.

So lovely and we felt very welcomed that we will definitely be coming back for more sessions!

Melissa Alagich Photography is a great option if you want both maternity and newborn photography, as their prices are reasonable, and it’s easy to schedule both.

The studio was started in 2009. Their lead photographer, Melissa, has a distinct style of using golden hues, with an emphasis on soft textures.

They excel at producing both digital and physical copies of photos. Their editing style is gentle and natural-looking, and their physical prints are durable and vibrant.

It’s a little hard, however, to catch an appointment on short notice, as their appointment slots are limited. They may also take a couple of days to respond to their website’s contact form.

We would highly recommend Melissa Alagich Photography to anyone wanting to get some treasured family photos.
