Pros
- Offers a good range of pizza flavours
- Offers dishes other than pizza
- Good selection of cocktail drinks
- Open 7 days a week
- Offers pizza truck for functions
Cons
- Some instances of the pizza arriving cold and soggy
- Opens late at 5:00 PM
- Quite expensive
There are a lot of things we love about Sunny’s Pizza. For starters, they have a good range of pizza flavours to choose from.
You can have Pepperoni, Eggplant Parmigiana, Pork and Kennel Sausage, and a lot of other pizza flavours.
We also love that they offer dishes other than pizza. They offer wood-roasted brussels, kingfish crudo, wood-fired gnocchi, and much more.
On top of that, they also have a good selection of drinks. They have one of the best cocktail lists among pizzerias in Adelaide, but they also offer juice for those who aren’t looking for alcoholic beverages.
We also like that they’re open seven days a week, so if you crave pizza, you can ring them up any day of the week.
However, they open late at 5:00 PM. They’re not the place to contact if you’re looking for a pizza delivery for lunch.
We’re also quite disappointed at the instances of the pizza arriving cold and soggy. Although it doesn’t happen all the time, it can still be pretty disappointing for customers hoping for a good pizza night.
Their pizzas can also be quite expensive. Fortunately, many past customers believe that although expensive, the pizzas are worth it.
On the bright side, you can hire their pizza truck for your birthday, anniversary, wedding, or any other event.

Pros
- Offers dishes other than pizza
- Extensive menu size
- Rated one of the Best 3 Restaurants in Adelaide by the ThreeBestRated
- Open 7 days a week
- Open for lunch
Cons
- Slow delivery
- Food sometimes arrives cold
Rated as one of the Best 3 Restaurants in Adelaide by ThreeBestRated, it’s hard to not include La Trattoria Restaurant & Pizza Bar on this list.
What we love most about this shop is its extensive menu size. They have 15 standard pizza flavours and four gourmet pizzas to choose from, each with its own charm and taste.
Aside from their pizza, they also offer a wide range of other dishes like pasta, salads, seafood, meat dishes, and more.
We also appreciate that they can use different types of cheese and pizza bases to cater to customers’ dietary requirements.
Another thing we love about La Trattoria is they’re open for lunch. They open at noon during weekdays, so you can enjoy a great box of pizza for lunch.
They can, however, improve their pizza delivery service. There are instances when customers wait more than an hour for their pizza to be delivered, leaving them hungry and frustrated.
Because the delivery is slow, food sometimes comes cold and soggy, making the experience less enjoyable.

Pros
- Accommodates different dietary requirements
- Opens early for lunch
- Open 7 days a week
- Has a separate kid’s menu
- Extensive menu size
Cons
- Some instances of late delivery
- Customer service can be improved
If you’re looking for great Italian cuisine in Adelaide, then San Giorgio on Rundle Street is one of the best choices for you.
The shop offers 15 classic Italian pizzas and five gourmet pizzas that come in different sizes to give customers better meal choices.
We also love that they cater to different dietary requirements by offering gluten-free pizza bases and vegetarian pasta.
Another great thing about their menu is that they have a separate kids menu to accommodate customers with children.
The only drawbacks would be the instances of late delivery and the lacking customer service.
There were instances when orders were late for more than an hour, and the customer received no updates.
They can also be hard to contact, so customers get even more frustrated when their orders are late.

Pros
Cons
Another great Italian pizzeria in Adelaide is Tony Tomatoes, located on O’Connell St in North Adelaide.
What we love about this pizzeria is its Italian-style thin-crust pizzas, which allow you to taste the toppings better. They also use high-quality toppings and sauce, guaranteeing an excellent-tasting pizza.
What also makes their pizza taste really good is that they do 72-hour proofing for their dough base, allowing the flavour to truly set.
They have 14 pizza flavours to choose from, and you can request an in-house made gluten-free base if you want.
We also love how convenient and accessible their pizzas are. They are available in both Menulog and Uber Eats, so customers can choose either of the two for delivery.
However, even though they’re available on both platforms, there are still instances when orders arrive late. Because of late orders, food also comes cold.
We’re also quite disappointed that their other dishes, like pasta, come in portions smaller than expected for the price.

Pros
- Won Best Pizzeria in Oceania from 2018 to 2020
- Multiple branches around the world
- Caters to all dietary requirements
- Open for lunch
- Open 7 days a week
- Wide range of pizza choices
Cons
- Some instances of order mix-up
- Quite expensive
Of course, this list will not be complete without the brand that won the Best Pizzeria in Oceania award in the 50 Top Pizza Awards for three consecutive years.
400 Gradi was first established in Brunswick but has grown exponentially over the past few years and now has multiple branches worldwide.
What we love about this shop is the availability of their pizza. They’re open for lunch seven days a week, making it easier for customers who are craving their pizza during lunch.
They also close late, 9:00 PM being the earliest, which allows them to serve more customers. Their operating hours allow you to enjoy their pizza for lunch, dinner, and even late-night snacking.
They have 17 pizzas to choose from, so you don’t have to worry about being restricted to a few choices and not enjoying your time.
Among their pizzas, the Margherita Doppia Mozzarella is a crowd favourite you have to try if they decide to order for delivery.
It’s an award-winning pizza named World’s Best Pizza in the Pizza World Championship, so you can expect a world-class pizza on your doorstep.
We were just disappointed at the instances of order mix-up that former customers experienced. Wrong orders were sent to customers, causing a bad dining experience.
This is even more disappointing, as the pizzas are pretty expensive, so customers expect top-notch service.
